Not road legal as will not pass an MOT. Will also invalidate insurance, so a risk i'm not willing to take.

I only know of 1 that has failed. Head of Renault motorsport told us at RWS 2006 they should last 50K easy as there's were tested to destruction on Track etc & survived.

£500 drop thats a years running costs:S If you want cheap cars, forget performance. A lot of Trophy owners have several cars, inc exotics so costs are not the defining element. Petrol is cheap compared to food etc:S

Trophy excells in those conditions, thats what it was designed for. Anyone can floor it on a main road, the fun starts on rough 'b' roads, sorts the men from the boys.
