not just the cambelt etc either, regular oil/filter changes are a must to keep the dephaser happy and the engine in general.
Rest of the car you will get normal wear and tear, gearboxes and clutches need to be watched...
he's said its just play, no mention of weight. heavy clutch is invariably the pressure plate though correct, I changed mine on 153k and it needed it! lol! didn't have the play thing thought, it was just heavy
plus resetting is comparatively cheap to just try ;-)
probably just needs cable resetting, pop it off gearbox end, press the pedal to reset the ratchet and then hook it back over the gearbox end again
this should take the slack up
I didn't even know the GT League was an update, lol! just got this for xmas and dived straight into it thinking this is mint, just like the GT of old.

who the hell doesn't unstick their wipers when its obviously icy before they get in the car? blummin lazy kids of today, back when I were a lad we didn't have glass, grumble grumble etc etc
I sometime find that its more the time between unlocking and opening the door. if you don't let it unlock then wait for a second or so before pulling the handle the alarm will go off.
Your routine at work may be you unlock the car a few paces before you get to it, where as at the petrol station...
this is my intention too, I have cut off all the unwanted plugs, just been too lazy upto now to pull the wires back
moved ecu to bulkhead but still engine bay side as well, already done this, just gets it out the way
unplug the fuel pump from under the rear seats, provided its a not an early phase 1 car with the separate pump and sender
that'll be fine to run the test, all I've ever done and not got any erroneous readings
