seen a flame red 172 with a ClioSport sticker in the back window on the motorway near grangemouth, i was in the black 1.2 (wasnt trying to race you or be a ***** was just passing you when you passed me to let you see the car so you would maby remember it when you read this!)
anyone from here?
common problem for the cambelt to go when the aux belt goes, valves stay open and piston hits them = bent valves.
you'll get a new engine out it though!
need a price for 2x apex front dampers for a clio 1.2 16v with 58mm bolt spacing. these are the ones that come with the -60mm lowering kit for the car, my 2 are screwed and apex want me to buy 2 new ones then return the old ones for inspection/refund.
was thinking john at 2modified would...
hi just wondering how the front fog lights are attached to the front bumpers in mk2 ph2's
ive won a set on ebay (picture HERE) and dont know what i need to actually fit them.
cheers
fancied doing that because i only want them for thrashing down backroads dont want to cruise about with my sidelights and fogs on pissing people off lol
yep as said above expression with full dynamique interior (cheers mattT lol) inc silver dash inserts, door handles, handbrake button etc, dynamique wheels, dynamique spoiler, and soon fog lights.
all it needs now is silver dial surrounds and dark dash and its sorted :)
RSi - RenaultSport Injection LOL
looking good giles, im in the mood for stripping mine and cleaning it now lol
so what you doing with the 1.2, it going to be your daily driver and the RSi a weekend toy?
its a short throw gear stick (with a shiney knob if your into that!)
its no different to drive arround town, just the same but doesnt have as much travel, makes the gearbox feel much better its like one of they racing sims u get at arcades lol
freds old 1.2 against a 1.6 focus and you say the focus would win, doubt it lol
im sure i remember the story from when i first joined about fred passing 172's on track in the 1.2.
the standard focus handles really well for what it is to be honest but its no match for a coilovered clio, what...
standard 15s with eagle F1s, colour coded, lowered 80mm on coilovers (60mm apex kit if you cant afford them) B&M quick shift will look good and be seriously fun to drive!
as the title says do foglights from a 172(cup) fit a 1.2 16v? they look the same to me but just wasnt sure, just ive found a set for sale with wiring which is unusual to find
cheers
think the Konigsports are what i want then, as i fancy bein able to adjust the damping because i like the ride pretty solid dont really care about ride quality lol#
ive noticed on a lot of coilover kits only the fronts are ride height adjustable is this the same with the konigsports?
both look cool although not a fan of the wheels id get a set of 15" dynamique wheels for it (think thats what hes lookin for anyway) 15s are the way forward
surprised no ones slated you for saying the wee 1.4 handles better than the 172 like i got when i said mine handled better than a 172
