to be honest back in 2001 when these cars were released (dont know if nav was available from day 1, think it was?) that is a pretty decent looking built in sat nav 10 years later in 2011 look at what renault is offering with these silly tom tom things. its the only option i didnt bother with on...
coloured badges and s**t looks cheap and nasty, soo 2008.
slammed on standard wheels with spacers. decent tyres. enjoy it until you can afford something better!
it should be dropping quicker than that from memory its been a while since i drove one though. check inlet manifold for air leaks, had the same problem when the TB gasket wasnt sealing properly on mine
195/50/16 is the standard size, i dont know if i can use any others im not clued up with wheels and tyres i just replace whats already on it usually! lol
for those in the know, whats the physical fitting differences between the non RS and RS clio 3 models, i know the differences on clio 2's because ive had plenty but never had a clio 3 apart!
basically what would be needed in total to run a full RS setup (suspension, hubs, brakes) on a non RS
are PS3's the replacement for the PE2? i think the GT must run an odd tyre size as im struggling to find much in its size and they are expensive as f**k!
it runs 195/50/16
my GT DCi is needing 2 new front tyres after 16k, not sure what to go for, its got conti energy somethings on it, they are ok, sidewalls are a bit soft and floppy but pretty grippy, good in the wet and last resonably long so was going to just stick another 2 of them on it, but open to suggestions?
yeah it should do, this is how mine pulls, well my old one, my new one is quicker! lol... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ccstsn0VIm0
i suppose after 120mph in 5th gear the engine has some serious load on it, thats when the plugs start to show their true colours! id start with them and see how...
its not so much they give more power, they give consistent air flow over their life between washes, paper filters get clogged up and start to drop the level of air they can flow, new vs new there probably isnt much difference, 5/6k miles later though...
possibly could be related to plugs, they wont be helping it but i cant see them causing the problem if its as if your hitting a brick wall, does it pull well 5000-7000rpm in all other gears?
so it pulls as normal in every gear but 5th? doesnt make sence, you running a v6 spoiler? lol should be hitting an indicated 140 without to much hastle or at least my 2 did as standard and i know my mates does
yeah deffo, im insuring in in 2 weeks on its own policy so i can use it whenever i want, cant wait to get back in a quick car, it felt brilliant the other day when i had it a run!
i think we need to get a PH1 meet arranged theres a few of us up this way, me, you, john, gaz, dunno if dave still has his?
done the wheels myself with the help of a mate, just got the old tyres off them, prepped them, painted them and then had new tyres fitted, they came out spot on too, ive...
got a new set of T1-R's fitted to them yesterday after the refurb, not had time to give the car a clean, its a bit dusty from sitting in the garage for a few months!
not my usual DSLR shots as my mate wasnt about for me to pinch his cam!
just fitted new front discs and pads, rear discs and...
attached to the 172, wont sell it, said that with my previous one and ended up selling it, only to have the ph1 a few months later! so this ones staying!
the GT DCi is just a work horse however i love it, it does everything i expected it to and it does it well
what makes it even better is the fact my neighbour just caught me with a bucket over my head making brrrrrap noises, if it sounds anything like my test did, it will sound like a twice as loud, twice as bad K&N
