How would you sound proof the boot lid?

id rather put the effort into putting some 6x9s in the rear seat area, where the exisiting speakers are now. think that would be pretty good. may take alot of work though.

Sony CDX F50M looks alright if you ask me. Kenwood units do look really dated mind.

im thinking about getting my old man one of these for xmas. just a couple of questions.... Does it have speed camera alerts? He has a RA2 at the min, but wants to give it to my mum and get sat nav with speed camera alerts, rather than have loads of seperate units. Cheers

well i was following my dad home and he has a Road Angel 2. My speedo said i was going 60mph and his RA2 said we was doing 60mph too, so i dont think there is too much difference.....maybe at 100mph+?

If they are different in size to standard then I would let them know. They look for any excuse to void a policy when you need to claim.

Have to say i got mine done for free as part of the offer with the clio, and when birds do sh*t on my car, i dont see any marks left. Not sure about the inside though, have had a chocolate mark that was a b**ch to get off. Dont know if I would have paid for it though.

Im happy with the 2 i got in my car. Good power rating at 200w RMS. What i did though was buy the subs on their own, then get boxes from MotorWorld. But it works out about the same price now, as MotorWorld have stopped the 20£ a sub box deal. So, id say get em!

also if u get a new headunit, i dont think you can use your cd changer.

Yeah its work in progress. Its held in safe atm, industrial velcro is holding it in, as well as it being wedged. It aint moved an inch.
