who cares its a clio, last time i checked this site was called ClioSport, there is plently of 1.2 16v owners on here who i thought would be interested in this if you dont have anything decent to say (and that doesnt mean it has to be positive) dont say it!
sorry forgot about this thread...
ali, aye passed 6 or 7 weeks ago now :)
R30BC, got 16" turinis coming this week dont know how long they'll last though kinda going off them for some reason :S easy enough to sell on though! and think ill go for 195/50 when the time comes
timsclio172, yep...
Welcome only thing i dont like about the PH1 is the dashboard, although i do like the white dials. the seats are nicer because the RenaultSport logo has colour in it instead of just grey like the Ph2 cars.
first mod is defo PH2 back lights though and they look good colourcoded and as rory said...
cheers guys were thinking about using some Powerflex polyurethane universal bushes as my gearbox mount is screwed and making the car a bit crazy to change gear!
CL10SP, sorry cant help you but someone will be able to.
more grip sounds good as it already grips like fuk!
so im going to have to get my tracking and alignment done, just got it done 2 weeks ago :(
defo not worth doing unless you can do the fitting yourself, if your doing the fiting its worth it.
you need engine, gearbox, clutch, wiring loom, dials brakes and suspension are recommended, defo worth doing them dont need to do the rear disks drums are fine.
its not about respect its about making a car thats a good replica of the model its bassed on. i doubt he cares if a bunch of strangers on the internet have respect for him
i know loads of people here will have went from 15" to 16" wheels on their 1.2 16v's just wondering if anyone noticed a difference in acceleration, handling etc?
im going from standard dynamique wheels to Turinis.
cheers
right now before i start i get the impression this would/will be a c**t of a job, but i really want aircon whats the costs involved with getting the parts etc? i could do the fitting with the help of a mate.
whats involved in fitting it (eg getting it regassed etc?)
hello, noticed tonight that all my dash lights arnt working, dials, heater controls etc. checked the fuse box and a fuse was blown so i changed it and as soon as i switched the lights on it blew again? my mate recons a bulbs fused and this is whats causing it, says the most likely one is the fag...
cheers guys think ill just keep the standard size.
as for the dynamique vs authentique question the 1.2 8v has 239mm (iirc) front disks where all the 16v cars (1.2, 1.4 and 1.6) have 259mm
