Hence why I’m having a custom box made my friend. Internal dimensions and port lengths to match the box the sub came in but also fits in to the place where I need it to go.
A sun in the boot and a decent set of components in the front is the perfect set up for every day use.
I have a vibe active sub and tbh it’s the best I’ve heard for the money. In fact it’s phenomenal. And it’s so good I’m removing it from the box and having a custome box made for my car as I...
More goodies!
Had a custom driveshaft made. 25mm shorter than the shortest 1*2 driveshafts. This should mean I can remove the bodged one and not have it on my mind constantly when out on track. It worries me no end.
Also got some more gear oil and I like to change the brake fluid at the...
My mate swears by Angel Wax resurrect on a DA with a microfibre pad. Does it for a living and said there isn’t a better all rounder. 🤷🏼♂️
That’s what I’m going to try once I’m done with the Menz I had off you.
(Not that there’s anything wrong with what I use, but always keen to try stuff)!
The plot thickens…
If I disconnect the air intake temp sensor and leave the EGR connected it runs perfect.
So either of those plugs disconnected, runs perfect. Both of those plugs connected runs like poo.
🤦♂️
I’ve got a Kangoo 1.9 diesel, non turbo.
runs like a sack of s**t. I disconnected the EGR valve and it runs perfect.
I bought a new (genuine) EGR valve and fitted it.
still runs like a sack of s**t.
Disconnect EGR and it’s fine again.
Any ideas??
You’ll need a donor car:
engine, brakes, gearbox, subframe, wiring, ECU, UCH, keys, steering column, steering rack and subframe.
be cheaper to buy a 172.
That said, it’s all swapping over. Nothing needs fabricating or anything like that.
I wouldn’t have a clue mate. Diesels in Bristol are the kiss of death now that the clean air zone is in effect. Can’t give the f**king things away.
At a guess I’d say £5k retail, and work back from there.
Sorry mate.
Chaps, a bit of help if I may.
I have somehow been roped in to polishing and waxing a mates car. I’ve told him I’ve not got the kit for the wax side of things so he’s going to buy some wax for me to use.
He has a budget of £60/70 and wants gloss/depth. Not arsed about water behaviour.
any...
I have a Bissel spot cleaner. Can’t praise it highly enough.
a lot easier to use at home than a Charles. But saying that, the Charles I used to have at work took a PROPER beating and never let me down. 😂
It’s literally a lump of useless metal. Supposedly for weight distribution or harmonics, depending on who’s telling you.
either way it’s pointless. Remove and bin.
People were coming in to see them and they were like “but it’s got 1.2 back seats, no xenons, no climate control. And I don’t like red”
they were hard to sell.
I was selling new cup packed 182’s for £14,495 and pre registered Trophy’s for £13,495. Madness.
I remember the saxo furio deals. I couldn’t get the free insurance as I had a DD10 and a DR10 on my license. I was gutted! I wanted a yellow one and make a VTS rep. Had it all planned out. 😭
I have spent a whole day before now cleaning our oven. Never again. £40 every 6 months and the local oven cleaning lady comes round it looks like brand new. No brainer.
