That took me about half an hour to read, very informative!
Good to see you getting your hands dirty, nice work.
I am a fan of OEM though, so not sure if i'm keen on the mods... especially the BC coilovers which IMO, are a bit cheap to be using on a Type R.
Regardless, you've done a...
Yeah, they are pretty sexy. Don't suit all cars though, and TBF, they are essentially just the BBS/CSL wheel made a little more chunky.
That R8 looks awesome.
I would go for the 11Rs, i love the RE30 but they are over done. Not least on Imprezas...
Can you still get Prodrive aftermarket wheels, as they did an awesome range?
Here are some 0C10s...
Very nice. As JD is suggesting though, needs lowering a few feet! To be picky, i'd want a private plate purely because the front 3/4 one looks too busy!
Agree with Ali, i much prefer the Impreza, but it sounds like you had more than enough reasons.
I remember hearing horror stories at Castle Combe. They had a fleet of the new Imprezas and they just kept blowing up, so they still use their old 1.6 Focuses!
Yeah, i remember back in the day when people found out the mod to get them to about 170bhp for pretty cheap, another US GM theft...throttle body?
My school of thought is that if you're ready to spend thousands on a car, you're ready to move on. Like i said though, it makes a great second hand...
Yeah, afraid i agree with the others!
Still, very nice. Hankered after a supercharger when i had my N/A, but hard to justify the conversion. A great second hand buy though.
Think those are flattering angles, isn't that a later 2+2 with the horrid upright screen? Original coupe/roadster is gorgeous, but hate the older abominations.
Bear in mind a VX is a lot less to insure than an Elise and is virtually the same car. That's why many people on here have had them! I think an Elise is group 19 or something silly. I think even a VX Turbo is cheaper to insure, although that is a bit crap out of the box.
Looks well. So is that the Quaife box as fitted to the Motorsport Elises? Cos its fcuking awful. Still, don't suppose you won't be ragging it like a race car.
Are you looking at bodies or parts of the car? The Vanquish was one of the first to use CF as part of the chassis. This article, taken from an official document, gives decent examples of it's use.
