To be fair that paint scheme on anything car would be dodgy...
Not keen on 355 convertibles, but love the coupe. Torn between one and an NSX-R replica.
Not being funny but ITBs don't make a car unreliable, it must have been installed badly.
Personally i would always take natural aspiration, for the throttle response alone, the great noise is an added bonus. I would also suggest it's less problematic as there isn't as much heat involved.
And the Evo test suggested it is too road biased, as the new Megane was quicker round the track in the wet...
I'm sure the Focus is great, don't get me wrong, but i wouldn't compare it to a Clio 182. The hot hatch game has moved on a long way since the little Clio in terms of grip and speed.
It is the pipe between the cat and the rear box. Basically it removes a silencer. The noise level is not that noticeable, but through tunnels you'll hear the difference.
Backboxes don't improve power on the E46, whereas the X-pipe gives you a few HP.
You're right there Ally, although it's a shame to leave a convertible in the rain. Hardtops can be worse as you can get a bit of boominess in the cabin from them, whereas the softop absorbs all the noise.
I don't like the wrap myself, but otherwise i like it. People are willing to pay to have the warranty to lean back on. Me included! I would rather other cars though.
TBH, i like the Cayman, but would always get a used Boxster S and save the change. The Cayman looks better, but it would be annoying driving past a Boxster in the Summer with it's roof down. It's not like the Boxster is a bad drive either...
Didn't know there was a new one. Before there was a standard 500 Ferrari edition, comes in the same Ferrari red and has a fruity exhaust. Was a few grand more than a standard one due to the varity, so i guess this is the same.
You have to realise some people don't need to worry about the money...
