I wonder if they actually made the vid? It's a bit amateur to say the least...
Looks awesome though, i hope Evo gets to do a road test. I would love one. Anyone know the price?
Nice job there!
Your mod to-do list sounds good. The facelift xenons are much better than the pre-facelifts'. Also look tons better, so if you can get a set for cheap i'd do a swap!
Think you're the first to notice that Ian, he once got called it by a commentator too...lol.
Yeah, can't wait for Spa, taking the Elise there too so we can make the most of it.
The exhaust is standard simply because it's been a rush and it's not a priority. The last thing we need is more power...
Went to Snetterton today for my first ever drive of the car. Since last season, where it completed in the final Britcar race, it's on new wheels, is lower, has shed about 50kg and most importantly, has a sequential gearbox. We will be starting the GT Cup series this weekend at Silverstone in...
Nice one... can you explain more about the series? What is the format like, and the length of the races? Big field?
I probably had my favourite race at Snett against the an AMV8 last year. ABS will of course be a hindrance in the dry, but certainly a benefit in the wet. At least you can brake...
I had those wheels on my first Mini but always wished i got the 5 spoke ones instead. Either way, i wouldn't paint them black, done to death is an over statement!
The way to go with a Mini, IMO.
They might not be the Q7 wheels, as i think they might be 20", but they appear to be the same style. Seen them on a few new A6s as well
I like the BBS CH but if you're not going to make many mods then i personally prefer keeping it OEM+.
Looks cracking so far. I take it you're planning to colour code the black plastic?
I would personally clean up the rear and remove the exhaust and stickers on the window.
What is the flower thing on the rear view for? Seen tons of them lately. Screams 'follower' to me. Do something different!
It has a Hewland which is miles better than anything Quaife does!
It has 270bhp because of class power-to-weight rules, unfortunately this isn't Time Attack where you can just turn up with 1000bhp. Everyone has to be relatively equal or it's all a bit too easy, and it would just benefit whoever...
Cheers, just want to get in it!
Just had an update, the car is pretty savage despite only having 270 brake. It is geared for 140mph and does 70mph in first LOL.
NSX is now finished, in terms of everything is put together. Car is getting a shakedown at a local airfield today and if all goes well, testing and race is next week!
I've also bought myself a Lotus Elise in the same blue as the Motorsport car. Just doing a few bits to it and will get some...
It is a facelift W114/W115 car from the mid 70s i imagine. They look cool, but bear in mind you can trace that chassis back to the later '60s!
The original is far cooler in my eyes, i think there is a modified one in this thread somewhere...
Came in loads of variants...
Yeah, shame about the badging. Curiously in Japan some owners think it is cool to use Acura badging :dapprove:
You're right about the rear, it is a bit out of proportion. It was originally shorter, but was re-designed so the fcuking yanks could get two golf bags in the boot! It is silly big...
