Fair play with the little add-ons, but can't say i'm a fan of the diffuser/spoiler thing. Think you're just fiddling for the sake of it! Leave it! It's done.
Thanks, hopefully everything will come together over the next couple of races!
To be specific, the next race is May 8th at Brands Hatch GP. Can't wait, back on home turf!
At Japfest we are the only car to do more than it's designated track session, we're doing 8! Tickets are being raffled for...
Over the winter, my old man and i had virtually convinced ourselves we were going to win class in the GT Cup. After all, it was an amateur only series and we'd be in a reliable Honda, what could go wrong?
The first test at Snetterton was a dose of reality. This was still essentially a road...
LOL. I am undecided myself. I think it's cool, but at the same time i think it's a bit sad that people just copy each other. Fortunately in the UK it's not widespread yet, but in the US and Japan there must be loads of cars out there that are virtually identical! The UK is just full of copycats...
Last autumn i saw a burgundy McLaren F1 here in Kent. I looked it up the day after and supposedly it was Rowan Atkinson's but i can't say the driver looked famous. The car was also surprisingly dirty.
I've seen a few Enzos, how many did they make? Like F40s, i don't think they're actually that...
The Motorsport car is so well developed then it is unfair to compare really, it drives like a single seater with a bodyshell.
It drove really nicely though for what it is. The S1 has a short ratio gearbox which is nice to use, and it had loads of grip. Of course feedback is great and the lift...
It cost me £10k. If it was a tidy car, that would about right for a bone stock Elise. A nice 160 would be about £15k, so considering mine has mods on top of that, i think it was a bargain (although i haggled down from £12k).
Soon after i sold the Mini i bought myself an Elise to use this Summer, primarily to pack in some track day action in between races. I've owned it for a few weeks but today was the first time i actually saw it! I met it at Brands to have some instruction with my old man.
The car is an...
Thats what i had! Small differences go along way, especially with something like the wheel which you are using all the time. It was great, and reminded me of the CSL.
