or because stupid? When I had my first ever Impreza, I wanted immediate wooshing and chattering so I went out and bought a K&N kit. Zero research. It sucked the oil in and fucked the MAF. cost me £160 for a new MAF and I threw the £250 K&N kit in the bin. Expensive day out that was. 😂

Yes, if you have a MAF’d car definitely don’t oil it.

When I had a car longer than a week, I used to wash mine with hot water and fairy liquid then re-oil with K&N spray.

My track car (172 engine) does exactly the same as this. Always has done. Drives perfecy though so I’ve never bothered to look in to it.

Not much to report, it’s still away being worked on. But a set of wheels popped up local so I grabbed them and sent them off for refurbishment. Very please with them as they were mullered!

I’d say that’s got a hole in the inner sill. I’d get that side skirt off, get it jacked up and have a good hard poke around with a screwdriver.
