those fabias are alrigth actually - and like you say 50mpg is v. good. however its still got the stigma with the Skoda name plus there are other slightly nicer looking cars about but something to think about

hows this for bad luck: I have been hit by what i think was the bin man (but cant prove it) - dented and deep scratches in left back panel - 500 quids damage - then been keyed on both sides deeply and on left side nearly the whole length of the car - why cant people just leave thigns alone -...

yep totally agree - i hate it! and with the extra bhp come extra weight so hardly any difference in performance with the 182 at the mo

I'd say get a clio 1.6 16v - i absolutely love mine - v quick and beats most things off the lights (not that i rag mine about all the time - lol)

this happened on my clio - basically its when you are turning the stalk when the engines off repeatdly. my mates a renault mechanic and he said its a common prob when people have been playing with cars - just teist on off on off on quickly and it should reset itself

those things are s**t and a complete waste of time and money - 20 bhp gains would cost way more money than a bloody 3 quid resistor off ebay!

how comwe your removing the dash - is it by any chance youve got a new head unit and steering wheel controls? oh yeah just pull back seals and tug the pillars off- should come away no problem

to be honest i get a really good noise at the moment and all ive don is pull the air box off! as a temp measure of course til i get a panel filter

i was told k and n panel filters were quite good as well

they are an improvemnt over original parts accordingly to my renault techinicain friend - get a good sound from them as well - im gonna get one cos i dont really think induction kits are worth the money

yeah maybach - s**t cos i'd rather have a rolls royce and loony yep your right - i mean brabus took the slr mcclaren tinkered with it and added 30k to the price tag plus it aint road legal cos of the exhaust!!!!!!

yeah i suppose - you can only see the damage if you stand far back - basically a chunk o plastic came off the bottom of one - perhaps i should just get one side replaced but where would anyone sell just one skirt? thanks for your suggestions by the way as well

^^^ normal bumper but with a renault lip kinda splitter thingy - basically a crappy bit o plastic thats about inch and half tall lol

Yes but the pug is a GTI so is way more power to start with so not really a fair comparison

100 quid - hmm plus 50 quid for the skirts = not bad price considering i was thinking o forking out 270 quid on those rieger skirts

call me thick if you like but whats best to smooth in side skirts?

hes done a pretty good job - i could neva do that by myself. aprt from the front lights which im not that keen on the rest is bloody good!

you reckon? - i fort once they were sprayed balck to maytch my car theyd look alright.hmm..... if not can you reccomend any good side skirts and no i wasnt slaggin kits off! i was making a point about replicas - the skirts on ebay are not standard clio sport parts!!
