actually if you got a clio sport and turboed it the cost would be much less than a standard V6 and would be quicker - seriously check out k-tec's turbo 172
to be honest i reckon you wouldnt get 400bhp at the end of it all - plus way too much power for the car unless you uprated absolutely everything - the ktec 172 turbo is brill (has 239bhp) and will actually be able to beat a clio V6 in a sprint - insane! so i recommend you turbo it if your...
I was lazy and got my friend (who works at an audio shop) to fit em but there was no trouble gettin front speakers in - i recommend Blaupunkt Blues cos they are the mutts nuts
yeah i know the noise can be quite lush but i can a deep note already cos currently ive taken my air box off! lol.
But seriously im just being stingy cos i want as much BHP for as little money as possible
well done mate on purchasing a 172 - my friends a renault mechanic and sometimes borrows one - they are amazing and completely out pace my 2003 1.6 16v - cant wait til i got the money t buy one. Whats the colour of the one youve put the deposit on?
I have seen one for sale on BB Tuning's website for 88 quid but the real thing is; is it worth it or in fact is any induction kit worth it? Would i get any real bhp gains from installing an induction kit on my 1.6 clio or should i just still in a k N Panel Filter?
My mates a hand over person at my local Renault Garage and he uses a brand new 1.5 dci clio - to be honest although the new clios are really girly (but would prob suit your sis) they are very economicla and to be honest are actually quite pokey for a diesel so my bet is bollox to the 206 - tell...
i must admit the colours ive seen for the new clio sport are dull - a few bright colours would be better however i feel that theyve made the shape more girly than the original clio sports - and thats gonna stop me buying one
^^ yeah ive heard the same. To be honest whats the point in forking out loads of cash on an induction kit when a panel filter would still give you a nice deep note when you push the engine - plus my mates a Renault Technician and hes the one who told me this!
personally i reckon you'd be okay with just springs - the ride will be a little bit harder but i lowered my 1.6 16v 35mm and although i can feel the road more i enjoy it cos it makes me feel like im actually "driving" rather than sitting there.
As i say i reckon youd be fine with just springs
ive found that my clio 1.6 16v can get a bit lairy in the conditions we have at the moment but suually its fine.
Ive been through a chicane on a road near mine at about 60mph (got clio 182 anthracite alloys and lowered suspension) and i managed a kinda small "tripod" with the back left wheel...
Ive recently installed a phat blaupunkt sound system in my car with all uprated components and two 12" subs - the problem is the bump strips on the rear panels on both side of my car vibrate like hell and make a really loud buzzing sound when i turn up the bass. Does anyone know any tricks that...
