I can’t exactly pinpoint what they got so right with UT2004. It was much better than UT3 that superseded it and much better than the original Unreal Tournament that came before.
Unique weapons. Great maps. Lack of silly, pointless trinkets of upgrades and skins. No IAPs as such a thing clearly...
@andy_con @White16valver - v1.9 of Affinity Photo has just been released.
Free for existing licensed users. The biggest plus point seems to be the Windows GPU acceleration being enabled - previously it was a Mac-only benefit.
Looks like they've chucked in some freebies when you log back in...
I should dig out the Atari 2600 (original) and have a dabble with Defender again.
The trouble is, outputting it to the TV these days I don't think would be easy!
There’s always a race to get hold of the newest and latest game coming out. But have you got some established gems that you still play?
Occasionally I’ll have a dabble at some much older titles - probably my record last year was trying out a game from 1990.
But for games to actually spend time...
Thanks for the responses guys - @hipwell it's the Cup spoiler unfortunately.
Looking at @rs 1an 's picture above, I can see how easy it must be to chip the edges in flicking it out as per @Coops Mk1 's comments.
Welcome Adam!
Plenty of us from this neck of the woods on here. I'm originally from Ashton-under-Lyne, but live just north of Bolton now..
Any big plans for it, or purely cosmetic fixes for now?
@oli99 - Welcome aboard!
If you find a decent one, they are still a cracking car. You'll be reaching for a gearchange far more often than what you'd probably do in your current ST and it won't feel as quick through the lack of torque. BUT - they are proper fun cars and as others - condition is...
Hi all,
Followed the wife in my car this morning and noticed that the spoiler brake light didn't come on at all.
What's the best process of checking what's failed or needing to be looked at?
Cheers,
D.
I've been a victim of my own clumsiness in the past with this. Mine barely lasted three months before it started droning and needed replacing.
It's that common an issue - I'd recommend that this be made a sticky? @Sunglasses_Ron
How's the 980 connected to the TV? Via HDMI or DP? I'm assuming it's the former? If it's DP - there's an update tool that I've used before that has been helpful...

Any idea what version the BIOS currently is compared to the latest one...
Lol - and it will happen.
"So why are you trading in your 320ee again, please?"
"Well, sat in traffic on the M62 again and the streaming of Smash My Backdoors In v.62 wouldn't skip to the shower scene. It's knackered."
Exactly this. It's far easier and simpler to present everything through a screen than to have physical representations of buttons and dials, etc. Added to that, today's obsession with society to customise everything 'becoz I can'. The manufacturers will get far more Likes due to Karen switching...
Every now and then I check what insane stuff Overclockers dumps out in terms of the 8Pack PCs.
Genuinely interested in who would buy something like this? I mean, having three 3090s onboard and SLi now strictly only being a two-card option these days - it clearly leaves the third 3090 for the...
It's interesting watching those back. Quite often, you're not leading the moving targets at all - instead aiming at the body of the target itself and firing, which clearly works. I'm wondering if the game engine is much more player 'friendly' towards planting the crosshairs on targets you want...
The only four cars I have ever owned.
Sporting - now tin-cans/landfill.
GT Turbo - same fate.
Evo VI - probably more structural content within an Oxo cube wrapper than in the bodywork itself. I know the shell was scrapped, but the engine lives on. Shame the image has a V front bumper and...
I had Engine Dynamics do the remap on my engine after the rebuild. I'm eight months on and it's not missed a beat.
I'd personally recommend them - especially with them being very familiar with Clios.
edit - And distance is irrelevant should quality of service ring true. I'm north of Manchester...
I honestly don't know how he keeps a level head with it all. I was chatting to him the other day about something completely different and he just converses like anyone else would. Oh, but by the way you've got this whole WRC thing going on this year too....! o_O
Still kind of chuffed how I used...
Nice to see Gus progressing at Ford! :)
.....lol at the arch-gap, though no doubt on these rockets, that is most definitely needed.
