@andy_con @White16valver - v1.9 of Affinity Photo has just been released. Free for existing licensed users. The biggest plus point seems to be the Windows GPU acceleration being enabled - previously it was a Mac-only benefit. Looks like they've chucked in some freebies when you log back in...

I should dig out the Atari 2600 (original) and have a dabble with Defender again. The trouble is, outputting it to the TV these days I don't think would be easy!

Thanks for the responses guys - @hipwell it's the Cup spoiler unfortunately. Looking at @rs 1an 's picture above, I can see how easy it must be to chip the edges in flicking it out as per @Coops Mk1 's comments.

It's interesting watching those back. Quite often, you're not leading the moving targets at all - instead aiming at the body of the target itself and firing, which clearly works. I'm wondering if the game engine is much more player 'friendly' towards planting the crosshairs on targets you want...
