Google the garage name.. That aside, unless the garage that carried out the timing belt are familiar, theres a high chance the timing will be out! I'd be looking at having it done again... (Provided it was done by a non specialist of course)
Nope - it'll have a fairly noticeable rattle once the car is up to temperature. This should essentially be changed every 5years/72k REGARDLESS of anything.
If the book is fully stamped by garages - phone them and ask for any paper work to be re-printed and sent out!
That sounds pretty low to me even if it does have 173k...!
Is the timimg maybe needing adjusted? Thats essentially 35bhp of a transmission loss.. Seems quite low?
Bought a full service kit for the car, opted to go with changing the gearbox oil as the cars now on 93k and as theres no service interval, i thought why not.

I reckon these are best at about 6mm of tread - the tread blocks are quite tall which causes a 'bit' of lean, once properly scrubbed in, they are awesome!
