    172 / 182 xenons issues

They're fragile as f**k sadly, collection only IMO. You could try and mastik it in place I suppose!

Nice Techy BT HH and Cat5 Cable Question

Right, got you. Now it makes sense. So yes, 4,5,7,8 are your pairs to use. Don't plug the camera into the HH.

Nice Techy BT HH and Cat5 Cable Question

Bingo. But your HH in the garage, simply plug your camera into an RJ45 port on the back of it and away you go. Is your DHCP being handled by the HH in the house?

    Trackday Off/Oops Thread

8:55 into Clearways at Brands, freezing cold/damp off-line, I put two wheels on the salty/slippery bit. Doesn't look like much in the vid. :tongueclosed:

    PistonHeads Silverstone Sunday Service 06/03

Yeah it's a bit dull without big power tbh.

    PistonHeads Silverstone Sunday Service 06/03

I find it an expensive way to do track time. That being said, it's a pretty decent way to spend a morning. I'll be there if my daughter doesn't turn up.

If you can afford a 996T and those mods; tyres aren't an issue my friend!

What to replace my 888's with

Personally I'm absolutely loving my AD08Rs. They have ~80% the grip of the 888 kind of tyre with 0% of the noise.

    15s / Tyres / Fitment

You don't *need* the spacers, but why do you want narrow wheels with more tuck? What are they? 195/50R15 is a usual size for 15".

Has anyone returned a mobile in the 14 day period before?

@ColinG You do exactly what you said, walk back in and say you'd like to return the handset for a refund. I did it with a blackberry a few years back. Was pretty painless.

Auxiliary or similar on standard head unit Clio 172

Connects2 is the one to go for though, enables use of steering wheel controls etc. Just stump up for it, great piece of kit.

    Bilstein B14's - How Low?

Basically don't go too low, your shafts could foul the chassis legs under compression. I think that's what @NorthloopCup warned me of. I had no issues at this height: Renault Clio 172 Cup by Adam Lister, on Flickr

    My DC5 @ Brands Hatch 15/02/16 (Pics & Vid)

I'd really love an RM-01A, but that's 600 odd quid. Lol @ the hairs! :) Cheers, me too!

    My DC5 @ Brands Hatch 15/02/16 (Pics & Vid)

Yeah they're a decent piece of kit, I'd almost had enough of the noise by the end of the day though; my exhaust is horrendous when it's piping hot.

    My DC5 @ Brands Hatch 15/02/16 (Pics & Vid)

Nah, I hate tyre rub, cheapens the whole car. No scrubbing here Squire. ;) If anything, my ride height now is higher on the Bilsteins than it was on shocks/eibachs.

    My DC5 @ Brands Hatch 15/02/16 (Pics & Vid)

Thanks :) It remains 'in vtec' through all gears so long as you shift up at over 8krpm. I'm shortshifting and staying in high gears to alleviate wheel spin in some areas though. Otherwise, I'd stay 'on cam'.

    My DC5 @ Brands Hatch 15/02/16 (Pics & Vid)

What started off as snow/ice broke into cold/dry in the afternoon, it was a good day. I went up with a few mates, in their 530, Cayman, and EP3. There was a new Clio Cup car there, seemed decent - the gearbox sounded rapid! I hadn't done Paddock before, what a corner that is. I was wary that the...

If you drive like Miss. Daisy everywhere, love wheel hop, and enjoy a horrible gear change, standard mounts are fine.

    My 2003 DC5 Integra Type R (Bulid-ish thread.)

Yeah I don't do anything myself anymore, rather just have it done properly. Actually don't know the state of my wheel arches, haven't had my own wheels off yet. 😂

    My 2003 DC5 Integra Type R (Bulid-ish thread.)

@Philip. Yeah it is, it was done when it came in in 2011. I'm not sure on the longevity, or whether it needs renewing. Currently have no rust issues, even behind the bumper! :)

    Engine mount movement

Standard engine mounts, whether they're Renault, Pattern, or whatever; are all s**t. Some of the worst I've ever experienced. Vibratechnics/KTEC are the only way to go.
