    Ta, I did have an m8 with about 25mm shaft, it's in there now but I want to find a longer one as it felt like only a few threads wounds in. :)

    Thanks Dan, the collar is still in place though. (If you mean the bit on the end of the vertical threaded bar.)

    As per the one that goes where the arrow below is please. I just had the aux belt changed and this fell out on the motorway on the way home. TIA. Hoping this isn't a Renault specific bolt. :dapprove:

    The 172 is more or less Revs*2, 3.5K = 70, 4K = 80 iirc etc etc.
