So we're well into our third year of living in a first floor apartment. Since moving in, there have been flyers and other email advertising about fibre broadband 'imminently' arriving from both BT and Hyperoptic - but still no progress has been made, other than the "cabinet is enabled and just...
I never understand why every vehicle from the factory doesn't have them fitted? Genuine 4x4 utility vehicles especially. Surely the amount of gravel, chippings and other s**t that they throw up into the wheel arch is just going to accelerate rust and corrosion? 🙈
Good stuff. Going off the rapid rate that drones are progressing these days - it wouldn't be beyond the realms of plausibility to have a couple of these mapping drones in the boot of a police car.
They arrive on the scene of an RTA and have some form of marker stick/pole to identify the centre...
Totally agree. I'm all for innovation and new ideas. But adding something for little-to-no benefit - smacks of an overpaid design team really scratching their heads for ideas. The audio jack has been out for decades and works. Just leave it alone.
Probably habit more than anything. I've...
I can honestly say hand-on-heart - that I have NEVER had any shots like that on the PC version. I've had bizarre reflex shots where I've killed someone without really aiming - but the rest has just been bizarre.
Some games I don't move, lying prone and do not lead the target. I might if I'm...
Firmly in camp of @SharkyUK with this. Really quite impressive what they can do literally with points in terms of producing graphics.
However, am I right in saying that this technology only works for static backgrounds? Anything that requires movement - trees, leaves, water, flags etc -...
Weird isn't it? All of these manufacturers are trying to cram feature after feature into their software - and yet we're primarily concerned about a single button!
No - good god no! It's one of THE best features about the physical aspect of the iPhone. I've had both Windows and Android works phones and when the silly little three icons are on the bottom of the screen, I've lost count of how many times I press those instead of the bloody space bar.
I've...
How are your exhaust tips? Proper black from over-fueling?
I've had the EML come on before - but not flash like yours. Turned to be an oxygen sensor on the blink - a code reader easily identified it as being the cause. Have you got one yourself or that you could borrow?
It depends what you want from an FPS, I guess. DOOM was never a challenge for me - more rather than it was a test. The difference I found was significant. Rather than being a enjoyable experience as you worked through the level, it became a 'tick-box' of do this, then that, then this. A key one...
Yep - as @MicKPM says - simply installing icloud onto your PC allows this functionality. On my Outlook 2016 install at work, I now have an icloud folder containing Contacts and various Calendars.
I've never taken my 182 on track, but I'm on my 2nd set of Sportlines with OEM dampers and have never had issues before.
Totally agree with your 15" step down though. Thought mine looked great with them on. Had track rubber on there too (naughty) for the few days they were on.
Stranger things can happen! You know what I mean though - the fluidity and arguably the 'simplicity' of the likes of CS:GO - really shine with K&M.
Some FPSs can be over complicated for not much gain. I'd rather have the myriad of inputs for ARMA3 - because they feel necessary - than a slightly...
Bought it for peanuts on cdkeys. Started working my way through the single player stuff - but as with a lot of recent cross-platform titles, non-game pad inputs are a mess.
It's playable - just - but you really have to think about which button(s) you're pressing. Like flashing your badge and...
Looked after (as you already said) - they are fine. Mine arrived back in 2004 with 7 miles on the clock and is now north of 142k. I can't recommend changing the gearbox oil highly enough. I've done it about half-a-dozen times now and it's still a joy to use. However, I'm pretty sympathetic...
Argh. Not good.
As @Typhoon says - tar remover would have been fine. When my original RenaultSport boot badge started bending like a banana (I think it was due to sunlight being on the black boot lid for so long) - I just used some dental floss and AutoGlym's tar remover. Took my time with it...
Taking pedals for your racing games to another level...

Let's all start the following letter....... "Dear Santa......" ;)
You should have seen my bonnet at circa 120k. If any polish went near it, it was like a shower of Tipp-Ex brushes had been flicked all over it. It had corrosion on the nearside front lip - purely through a stone-chip and it was cheaper to buy a new unpainted bonnet, then black-gold it - rather...
We wouldn't as a society be jumping into every other service providers bed (broadband, electric, water, etc) - if they offered something in the way to attract customer retention.
Its ridiculous that there's such a gap in pricing between new customers and long established ones. It's 'accepted'...
