    MacBook Pro RAM

Yeah - as Daz says - go with both if you can. An SSD not only provides much quicker access times - but it's lighter than a standard spindle drive and also uses less battery.

    MacBook Pro RAM

It will be following the traditional 'U' pricing of memory. Starts off expensive, then plummets and is clearly back on the expensive climb as the memory spec gets older and less likely to be produced.

The Gaming Thread (General Gaming Jibba Jabba)

Had a dabble at that Survival mode. It's better, but it's still a flawed game. I think that's why I'm so mad with it. It's SO close to being a fantastic game and then just faceplants itself. If Ubi weren't so focused on DLCs and released the SDK for free mods - someone out there could easily...

Pas leak 100 miles from home

Why does this happen so much with the RS Clios?? So many 99% similar parts - yet they can vary enough that they won't fit. Surely without a face-lifted release, the parts should be easy to identify - yet they are not? Track rod ends, driveshafts, alternators, steering racks - the list goes on!

Would love one of these. Just not sure the hefty premium is worth it? Decisions!

    Clutch problems... constant

To be fair - if it's the original item, it's done bloody well. 16 years old and if your username relates to your DOB, you were 7 when it was fitted. ;)

    Lancer Evolution Appreciation Thread

Mate - I bet if you offered him a price - he'd go for it. It must have been there for going on three years now and is literally taking up space in the garage forecourt. I'll PM you his details - though like I said, he did say the that rear floor was in a 'bad way'. What am I saying though?? Buy...

Thread of Win. I can't believe the start of my own Lancer ownership experience was 5 years ago now. Must think about having one of these again at least once a week! http://www.cliosport.net/threads/over-10-years-in-waiting-and-my-day-finally-arrives.619953/ One red TME just around the...

    [PC] Diablo 3

Totally agree. Co-op makes this game. On the PC, cdkeys have the Battle Chest combo at £17.99. Well worth it for that. http://www.cdkeys.com/pc/games/diablo-iii-3-battle-chest-pc-cd-key

    Battlefield 1

I was the opposite when I used to play this. Spammed every fecker near me with ammo - even if they didn't need it. Interestingly, I read this comment yesterday.... Even the devs don’t seem quite sure how to meaningfully follow BFBC2 up. As DICE boss Karl-Magnus Troedsson told Eurogamer last...

New to the club, Recently brought a 200rs Cup

It has taken me a while, but I have now got used to being correct all the time. Trip to Specsavers required if anyone thinks the RS spoiler three posts above looks out of place.

    So I've gone Volkswagen

That spoiler is epic! Looks really smart. Just a shame the GTI lettering on the boot kind of disappears against the body colour. Could you/would you de-badge it?

New to the club, Recently brought a 200rs Cup

Nope nope. All aboard the Nope Train. So wrong on every level. It needs the spoiler to break up the outline that the rear-end resembles a 'Women of Wal-Mart' photoshoot.

Pas leak 100 miles from home

Definitely the PAS has failed and it's in Norfolk? Epic. Take it to Snetterton on a track-day and enjoy the lack of PAS 'intervention'. You never know, you might not actually want to get it fixed..... ;)

    DiRT 4 (June '17)

Strangely - I did s**t on Rally when I hooked up the G25 wheel. I didn't really go to town with tweaking the setups, but I felt there was a big delay between steering inputs having any affect on screen. I didn't do well at all. Then tried it several weeks later with an XBox One pad on standard...

    DiRT 4 (June '17)

Looks good. I prefer the likes of DIRT Rally compared to DIRT3, but I'll be interested to see how this pans out. DIRT Rally for me strikes good balance between fun and some form of realism. Its rewarding when you get it right, but not massively frustrating when you don't.

    Battlefield 1

You can still do that now in BF4 m8. Hang out the side of a Little Bird with your welder/screwdriver gadget working feverishly against the bulkhead. If you have a good pilot at the helm you can spend minutes onboard one of those things, racking up points.
  23. Darren S

    Battlefield 1

Fair point m8 - but apply the same logic to aircraft and add a pilot with some skill - and it's pwnage galore. That J-10 Chinese jet back in the early BF4 days (I think they nerfed it later?). Hit it a few times for about 10% damage and the fecker just thrusts out to some corner of the map...

    Battlefield 1

The thing with the tanks - as with all the recent vehicles within BF games, is the idiotic decision to have them equipped with unlimited ammo. The shell never deviates - but follows an extremely predictable and logical arc path, through the air. It's doesn't take much practice to get those...

    MacBook Pro RAM

Ye Yep, they do. I just think things like that are underhanded when it's long been an established practice for expansion and upgrades at a later date. Hopefully it won't catch on too well and quickly die out.
