So you want to get insured on a valver with nitrous before youve passed your test?? Im surprised your quote was only 3 grand! Get your test passed before you start on the Nos!
Stupid b**ch, I would have been fuming. I would have chased her down if she drove off. If the roles were reversed I bet she would have kicked up a right stink!
BTW I think the standard williams and V6 are the best cars in the mag, all the other cars are really Maxed. I think the 205 is the best of a bad bunch and thats saying something. Some real crap in the mag, in Votre Voitures "Performance is far more important than looks to Dave. Never happy with...
My williams has a reciept for a re-con gearbox from a couple of years ago and I didnt think much about it until I tested my car on a private runway recently. At 140 mph my car is revving at around 6700/6800 rpm is this right for a willy box? If the williams top speed is 134 surely it shouldnt...
I noticed that as well, the wheels look like theyve been re-sprayed with spray can, dont look gold really. Just read the mag and there is a few mistakes.
Williams with wider arches than a 16v??
Renault 19 with a 1.6 16v engine
306 Xsi with a 2.0 16v engine
1998cc engine for a Williams...
Nice but I think I prefer the ibiza splitter. Someones got a williams blue valver with front and rear splitters and 17s kahn RSRs I think looks mint. Anyone know who it is?
I need a good bodyshop in the NW that can sort out the rust on my williams and give it a respray for a decent price. Must be quality job as I dont want the rust coming through in 6 months. Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks
I would get a chip again, it gives better pull in mid and top end of the revs. Its not immediatley noticable but when I tested my car on a certain bit of road where I used to crack 100 after the chip I could get 105. As this stretch is round 1/3 of a mile thats a pretty good increase.
Saw a 16v in Redline a couple of years back, was some tennis instrucor guy who had the 2.1 with throttle bodies by Prima, was supposed to make 230 bhp!
Oh right, I have HP chip which is very good imo, know what you mean about rev limiter though The Williams engine isnt really built to rev and starts to sound rough near the limiter, I usually change at 6.5/6.7k.
Why are you getting rid of the chip for standard? I think the 6500 rpm limit on the williams is very low for a 16v and its easy to hit the limiter accidentally.
... for free! recently had the rear of my car lowered and havent been happy with the handling since, so I played around with the ride on my coilovers. Not done it before as I though I would make the car worse but I softened the front off by a couple of turns. The car seems to lean more in...
