How come you managed to spank a williams if yours is standard? Lets have some details then. How come 2.0 valvers seem to be quicker (in a straight line;) ) than the williams?
I wouldnt borrow 10k personally, I borrowed 5k to buy my saxo a few years ago. I didnt get a particularly good interest rate and ended up paying back around 6750 over 26ish months (payed off early). I didnt like having 180 odd quid going out of my account each month, maybe it just me, but Im not...
Had no problems with mine, its about 2 yrs old and although the backbox needs polishing up with alloy cleaner to keep it looking good, it does the job perfectly. Would get another if I bought a new car.
Grrr, this reminds me of when I was looking at buying a williams, I rang my insurance up and asked for a quote on a williams and they came back to me and said 1700. I thought it was pretty steep but I could afford it so when I had agreed to buy my Williams a couple of days later I rang them...

What he said^^, if I was buying a Williams/16v again I would only buy from a private seller, preferably a enthuisiast owned car. Trader car are more likely to be touched up trade ins with hidden faults.IMO
Viper is a great bit of kit, the sound is great. Totally different noise to the K&N I used to have, slightly quieter but much better. Sounds like its really sucking in the air. Hard to resist scaring old people and snapping necks when you boot it as well.:D
I think you should go for a valver, the Rsi has the same sort of problems as the 16v but the it does not have the bonnet bulge, flared arches and extra performance of the 16v. Make sure you get a good one though as there are a lot of sh*tters about, get a mint one and youll be smiling every time...
Well ive never driven a decent standard car as the suspension on mine when I got it was way past its best but when I put the coilovers on it was dropped -35mm at front standard at the back and it was superb! Looked a bit odd though and I gave in to temptation and had the rear levelled out now...
