One with cold air ducting one without I believe. Ive got the one without and it sits right at the front of the engine bay and gets air from gap between bumper/headlight/bonnet. Not a lot of room for ducting anyway!
Seized brake calipers, knackered wheels bearings, clutch, sh*t handbrake, cracked brake disc, wheels not holding pressure and broken alarm. Apart from that its been plain sailing!
Seems good for standard, looks like you could do a 0-100 in less than 20.8 any way. Seems like they had a learner driver doing the testing when they came up with that time!
company are you with ? I am ringing around for re-newal at the moment but Im having no luck. Im 24 3yrs NCB, SP60 and living in a low risk area. My renewal has come through at 1175 TPF&T. Only 100 cheaper than last year, and Ive rung L/Vic, HIC and Greenlight. Two wouldnt cover me:confused: and...
Timing with a stopwatch is never 100% accurate but I did it five times to get an average result. Im confident my car will do 60-100 in around 9 secs dead all day. Even if I did 65-105 on the clock (to compensate for speedo error) the result wouldnt be that much different.
As a comparison I...
I have noticed that a noise on my car that has got louder recently. It a squeeling/screetching noise that I originally thought was the power steering. But it is noticable on startup, going round corners and when I drop a gear to revs above 4000 rpm. Any ideas?
I did five, best was 8.44 worst 9.09. Seems pretty quick, Im trying to work out how the williams takes 20.8 to do 0-100??!

Ive got monacos and 4 point harnesses, look really good imo. However they did give me a numb arse after a hour or more of driving, but Ive got used to them now and have no problems. You dont want to do John o Groats to Lands end but for day to day driving I love them. Get buckets and rip the...
No idea what power it was making but he didnt pull a more than a car length till after 100, which I was happy with. I agree that (some) Cup drivers are constantly striving to prove the performance of their cars but it doesnt bother me.
I am sure they were trying, the R32 was at a meet with us and the Impreza ended up doing over 140 mph! You need a lot more power to make a significant difference in performance on the road.imo
The scooby and the R32 may be better cars in your opinion but different people like different types of car. The difference in performance is not as great as you think either, I enjoyed a bit of enthuisastic driving with a Impreza and a R32 Golf yesterday and I was surprised how well my car kept up.
I dont seem to make any money though.;) With the wheels Id loosen your wallets and buy a new set. I got 4 wheels and centre caps for 820 ish pounds. Dont go through too many tyres though as mine got a slight mark on the diamond cut rim when they swapped the tyres.:(
