I have these tyres in 195/50 and think they are very good vfm. I got them 195/50s for 40 pounds each fitted. Very good performance in the dry and wet is not too bad either.
Im very happy with my Gaz coilovers, cost the same as standard iirc and are fully adjustable. Depends on whether you are a purist and/or are selling the car soon as stnd williams will always fetch the highest prices.
I would have a 2l Nova on throttle bodies. It may be just a Nova but it would be bloody quick and cheap. Wouldnt handle badly either with correct suspension mods.
Those in gear speeds seem to be right. On my private test track Ive been past the 6500rpm limiter in 5th it seems to be coming in at around 135-138 on the clock. I imagine a standard williams could hit the limiter in 5th as the gearing is quite short with the 6500rpm limit.
Sounds like a good idea if you dads paying the bill, you just need to convince him a 2.0 bottom end and cams is a good way of refreshing the engine! Im considering spending a bit of money on my Williams ( Re-spray/tuning ) but Im still unsure whether its worth it.
Sounds sweet, I find the driving position is much improved with bucket seats as the standard ones are too high for my liking. Next step maybe get yourself a half cage? Its one of the things on my shopping list, along with a whole load of other things.
Is that AP-22? They are only as accurate as they are set up imo. How come the 0-70 times are the same for both runs but on the second run you make up LOADS of time from 70-100?
I cant believe im saying this but imo you would be better buying a newer vts and doing a few simple mods than buying a 172. The Saxo will be cheaper to buy, insure and with some breathing mods will not be far behind a 172 in performance terms. At 20 youll be shelling out a lot of money for...
I pay 1350 on a modified Williams, 23 2 NCB. TPF&T But Ive been naughty:oops:, my renewal comes round next month and Im hoping for sub 1000 fully comp as my licence will be a bit cleaner + another years NCB.
I had problems with my old Saxo ever since it ran out of petrol would feel a bit sluggish and cut out at high revs or when fuel was low. Had to get new fuel pump sorted it right out. All the sh*t in the bottom of your tank can block up your injectors as well, might need sorting.
True some Williams will be a money pits but thats the same with any car, Id say go for it but make sure you get a good one. Preferably buy from a private seller who had a fat stack of bills/history and if you dont know your cars definatley get a RAC/AA check done on the car. I speak from...
Is the normal price for SMT6 and fitting/rr 600 then. If the all in price is 500 I would be very interested. Just wondering if I have SMT6 fitted then get head&cams later how much will it cost to set up again?
