I must admit, calls are much improved on the 5. When i'm at work and the wind is howling i can actually hear the other person, wasn't the same with the 4!

**Help a new member become a new owner!!**

Welcome along mate. You have to ask yourself why you'd want to take a punt on a performance hot hatch with no history when there are literally hundreads of examples for the same price with fsh/belts done. You'd be mad to do it.

CLIO IV RS - Trophy from page 111

+1 It does seem a bit of a low tolerance considering that almost always turbo charged cars will over produce on torque/bhp?

    My Astra

They really are shocking cars. The Astra 888 and Astra Nurburgring are about all i could stomach driving.

    Civic ek9 vs clio 172

Thats like saying 'a turbocharged clio would eat a corvette' Totally and utterly irrelevant comparing a modified car to a standard one.
  21. Poopensharten

    Civic ek9 vs clio 172

Nosense. A Phase 1 is more than capable of keeping with an Ek9.

  23. Poopensharten

  25. Poopensharten

    Civic ek9 vs clio 172

118lb-ft from the Ek9 isn't exactly dead planet starting torque.
  26. Poopensharten

    Civic ek9 vs clio 172

In my experience, both are evenly matched. I find my Cup is slightly quicker due to the weight of the Ek9 (1091 kgs) compared to the Cup's 1021 kg's. Also, the Ek9's quoted 185 'bhp' is actually PS, so around 180ish at the fly (if its a good un'). The Civic also has an lsd, so not as if they...
