Expensive buckets....

A solution.

I'm sure everyone has seen the expensive detailing buckets.

No way I personally would spend mega money on a simple bucket, however I was fed up of the small builders type buckets.

Found these via a recommendation on DW and popped out and picked up a pair for £5 each.

Add a Green Auto Finesse and a Red one to highlight Wash and rinse buckets and job done. (Not sure how well the stickers will hold up but they look good for now)

They hold 30l each so should be deep enough not to pick up an grit / dirt at the bottom.

Dull thread I know ;)

No worries, for the love if god don't mention you have them over on DW, they have all just had heart attacks as you could use a £1 orange builders bucket instead.

It seems gone are the days of them all raving about £1000 waxes and buckets with grit guards, recession must have hit hard.

They are massive! The Chemical guys ones are very good at £6 each with lids. Free delivery also.

Had mine for 2-3 years now.

I think one will do for me, cheers for the heads up.

We should have sweepstakes on Tony's reaction before he finds these threads.

Lol, don't get me wrong, I'm not against car cleaning at all. Infact I was up at 6 doing the Cup, race car and van before the sun came around, and it was freezing, but special logo'd buckets!!

Got to admire the attention to detail though.

Halfords bucket, cut down grit guard. I have an i4d bucket with lid but rarely use it unless i need to polish a roof etc.

as for needing to know between rinse and wash buckets you should be able to tell by the colour and suds of the water

Great spot mate!

It's crazy how most detailing companies are buying buckets (probably for less than these!), adding their logo to them and charging 4 or 5 times the price of these.

i WON a pair of pair of ScratchShield Buckets & Grit guards a while back from I4detailing, don't bother with the grit guards as i find the feet/legs or whatever you want to call them come off

No way would i pay the silly money wash buckets go for
