As the thread title suggests, just curious if anyone has converted or attempted to convert a standard Clio 182 into a Clio V6. Im thinking purely on the appearance side, body kits that thought of thing, so to make a standard Clio 182 look like a V6. I could be wrong but have heard a lot of the...
As far as I am aware I still have my no claims because his insurance accepted full liability. I didn't have protected no claims as you need to have 3 years before you can protect it
Because I wanted to get 1 years no claims and get some money together so I could buy a 182. I got the money and 1 years no claims so might as well get one.
Yh exactly the policy is all fully paid off but don't see the point in having a policy but no car. I'm with quote me happy and I wanna get a 182 but they won't insure that kind of car so will have to change policy anyways.
I had this policy just over a months then had my accident. I didn't claim whiplash but I did sprain a muscle in my back. I didn't push for compensation they asked if I had injuries and I said yh, from that they offered me £1200 and money for my car.
Yh my postcode isn't that bad either! I will admit tho a 182 I'm 21 and have 1 years no claims so £1500 ain't bad but still not as good as £1100! Got my courtesy car today, 12 plate 1.6 litre Citroen DS3. I not a fan of Citroens but I like the feel of it! But I might just have a fetish for...
Yh I understand the more powerful the car the higher the insurance. I just don't get why it would go up after having an accident that wasn't your fault! So I have to suffer because somebody else can't drive!
Yh but I do an insurance quote and they want £1100 but I add my accident in then they want £1500 for the 182! Don't see why I should pay more on insurance why I haven't done nothing.
Considering the accident wasn't my fault and I was merely in the wrong place at the wrong time, the insurance company want an extra £400 to insure a 182! The system is broken I have to suffer for something that's not my fault!
Yh get my courtesy car Monday and tbf it probably better they write it off because the wheel took the full force of the impact so the subframe probably bent! Might put the money I get towards buying a clio 182 :)
Just make sure you use a plastic primer! I didn't !spent all day painting panels then after fitting them bumped into it and the paint pretty much exploded off! Lesson well learnt
Got a set of 4 16" Speedline Turini's laying around not being used. Was considering selling them as they all have road legal tyres on them. Anyone know how much roughly they sell for? They it ok condition slight marks.
Building your own is good if you on a tight budget, means you slowly upgrade parts as they get outdated. If you planning on spending £600 you might as well either build new or buy one.
Well I wasn't parked I was waiting at a give way and as far as the alloys go I don't plan in claiming for them so if they say anything I will just say I don't want any money for them. My mate has given me a set of steels to put on
Makes sense :) also I have alloy wheels on my car I haven't declared but I heard as long as I don't claim for them or in someway they didn't cause the accident then I should be fine. Is this correct? I got steels I can put back on? :)
