The 1.2 16v Clio is a great first car really. Cheap, nippy, looks pretty smart, insurance group 2/3 and most importantly IMO, is a 4 Star NCAP.

I think at that mileage you have to start worrying about the dampers. Did you check them for leaks as the rears do tend to go? As mentioned, wheel bearing failure is very common. There are plenty around, drive a few i'd say.
