I'd rather have a Lambo than two Porsches...
I think it's a bit bent that people modify their cars only to own everyone on a trackday. Personally being allowed past by 60 year old fat businessmen in their 911s isn't that much of an ego boost.
Besides, you would have more fun in a boggo MX5...
2modified are cheapest for FKs...
FKs will go lower, but the H&Rs go low enough really. The adjustable FKs have a perfectly ok ride, and they're still cheaper.
Tarox is s**t.
I don't get why people say a big brake kit isn't worth it, have they actually tried one? I doubt it.
I'd be interested in the Compbrake kit FMP sells as it is lighter than the OEM set up. Not sure if the Brembo is or not...
Hi Guys,
Thought i would inform you that the Australian company Whiteline have a UK distributor: http://www.whitelineautomotive.co.uk/.
ASFAIK, they are the only supplier of an anti-roll bar for the Clio Sports.
You can get an adjustable ARB, or fixed. They also do a strutbrace, shims and...
I think you'd be better spending the money on lowering the car. I laugh at the 182 hubcaps.
I like the standard 172 wheels, the spokes go right to the edges and make them look bigger than they are. I also think they suit the cars stealthy look.
I disagree amount dark wheels not working on...
So presuming it has a near OEM offset the wheel stick inside and outside by 3/4 of an inch. If it rubs on the inside on an OEM offset when slammed you would need around an ET18. I'd say this is ok on the front as my Cup wheels are well inside the arches... rear might be a problem.
The ET is...
Coilovers is a gay word used by people with modified cars. Any Macpherson strut set up is a coilover.
I think he probably was asking if it was a torsion beam rear, which it is, but it still has springs and dampers. Many mechanics ask me the same thing, thinking it is like a Mk1...
Prefer the foggies in to be honest, or the offical Cup racer ducts.
They'll make sod all difference too, although you will introduce lift at high speeds!
It does sound s**t though...whether it's the video or not. Why post the video if you're not going to bother with getting anything that will actually reflect the noise the car makes, therefore defeating the object of the thread? ;)
Frankly it sounds like a fat bloke playing a kazoo. My 1.2...
Looks like you dented your original bonnet and replaced it with one from a black Clio because you can't afford a new one.
So i'd paint it myself, although i guess if it doesn't save much weight you bought it for pose value anyway.
