seen a silver 172 with a CS sticker in the carpark outside halfords in stirling, was infront of me the other day too in falkirk untill it pulled into a petrol station.
ive got a black 1.2 16v with turinis
id just use a 15" dynamique wheel, i dont even have a spare in mine took it out to save weight but might stick a dynamique wheel in to save the hastle if i get a puncture
think the actually megane box links up to the 172 engine as the megane is just a turbod F4R, its just the gearbox is massive and its a job getting it to fit, but it doesnt stop fred giving it a go....
looks 10x better mate nice, where you get the renault sticker?
i'd do that to mine if the 16v ones didnt have a habbit of braking off and ending up down at the alternator belt lol
even with 1 or 2 clips snapped it sits in place ok untill you hit the rev limiter then it gets thrown off lol
Blue4Ever dont show people my guide they will know i had one of they crap k-tec relocated kits back in the day :o LOL only kidding mate but they really are CRAP!
john ill keep my eye out for one for ur GF, my mate recently bought a 1.4 one for £50 from some girl in the pub lol just needed...
best way to make your 1.6 faster is to turn it into a go-kart, coilover suspension if you can afford it, if not the Apex -60mm kit (ive got it on my 1.2) then get yourself a full catback exhaust, sports cat or decat if you can be arsed with the hastle of a decat, pannel filter in the standard...
only done the gearknob on mine but was a shitty expression one to a dynamique job and it really is a hacksaw jobbie as said.
when i asked how to do it and was told hacksaw i told the guy if he didnt have anything decent to say dont say it, then found out he was actually being serious lol
could you PM me a price for brembo grooved with whatever pads you recommend, better than standard but fairly cheap if you know what i mean.
cant afford to do the braided lines yet but ill think about them in the future
also all the aftermarket pads seem to be for the Girling calipers, i have Lucas ones, can i still use them on my car or do i need pads designed for the Lucas calipers

are these the right disks for a 1.2 16v, they seem to be the right size but i was just put off when i could only see 1.6 listed and not 1.2 or 1.4 cheers
i had been reading into what filter was the best and found out from many sites/forums that these filters are the best about.
i also remember how much better the car felt when i drove it without a filter (previously had the standard paper filter) then once I put the HKS one in, it felt no...
