Just for a heads-up too - check that no error codes appear. If you hold in the button on the end of the stalk and turn your ignition key once (or twice? I can't remember off the top of my head) - the dash will light up and the dials rotate automatically. There will be a beeping noise and if you...
It's been a long time coming - but I got there eventually! :)
Yep - definitely one to agree to disagree about - lol! :) I did jack it up on the jacking points (similar to those on the Clio) but a couple of them were pretty mangled, tbf. I've never really understood whey there isn't a universal...
Am I looking at the gearstick right - only a 5-speeder?
As much as I like these, I can't but help think of 'what if' the engine was at the correct end of the car? No doubt it would cost an absolute fortune to develop and price itself way out of the comparative market. But it would make a cool...
Haha! Too late! These were ALWAYS going to go on. Along with a Scooby, they are one of the few cars that can get away with having them fitted, imo. And with Clio metal being like a titanium alloy in comparison to the metal used on Evos, the bodywork needs as much help as possible against...
I love it when people own a certain car for donkeys years. Such an antidote to the 3-year-recycle culture that a lot of owners have with their cars!
Looks very well looked after, btw. :)

Simply stunning. I remember one of the dinner ladies at our junior school had one very similar - without the white trim on the tyres and the car itself was white, iirc. Looked brilliant even back then when I didn't really realise what it 'was'.
I remember dad picking the same as this one below...
I've done that many times........ and got 'away' with it. I think I've had enough chances now - the next person might be a total nut-job and stab me on the spot.
Just not worth it these days.

Tomorrow's job arrived today......
That's all assuming that.....
The jack will get underneath the car (I'm thinking a new purchase is required here)
That the bolts holding the flaps in place don't hit the rubber surrounding the 18s.
Fingers crossed!

All a bit meh to me.
The only thing that grabbed my attention was that fleeting glimpse of the Mk.1 Golf in that original video. About 2.55 in, iirc? That looked superb. :)

NO WAY - could I have that desk! ;)
I cannot stand finger-marks on glass/monitors/windscreens/etc. Just using that desk for 5 mins would have me stopping what I was doing and cleaning it again!!!

For my 10p worth....
They are great cars to be in. As others, the attention it gets is very noticable. It's a Marmite car too. A lot of people simply not understanding the reason why that Clio has no rear seats - or why that Clio has a 'silly' bodykit on it!
One-off parts are eye-wateringly...
Evenin' and welcome!
Worth paying the membership fee so that you've got access to car parts for sale section, etc. Something may pop up in there for you? :)

I can see the funny side - but stuff like this makes my piss boil. And WTF was the 20-year-old doing?!?!?! Stop the car FFS!!!
When I went into Renault yesterday, some old codger had to be told AGAIN that he'd come into the wrong dealership and that Fiat was next door. Maybe the large 30ft x...
Got mine done last time at Demon Tweeks after behaving exactly as you say. Made the car so much more pleasant to drive as the offset steering wheel was really beginning to piss me off!

You......... drove........... in Paris? :headno: I wouldn't drive a £100 shitbox in Gay Paree - let alone a Trophy! ;)
Looks an awesome trip though, m8. How did you feel after that length of driving in the Clio?

Microsoft's next server release is pure 64-bit - and about bloody time too. 32-bit has served its purpose (and served it well) - but hardware had romped ahead and is still held back by archaic memory limits by filling it with 32-bit based software.
I purposely installed Win7 64-bit on my works...
Gutted for you m8. :(
Some mindless prick did it to mine - although on a much smaller scale by the sounds of it. Like you say, at the time you feel a mixture of anger and rage at the fact that they've gained nothing from it, yet you've now got to spend the time and money in fixing their...
We have a works depot in Aberdare and when I visit, I keep promising myself take the alternative route back north - rather than the mundane M50/M5 track!

I'd be VERY surprised if they got knocking on the door of £400 notes. You're venturing in PC money from then on - and given that most consolers would rather go down on their own mum than own a PC - I think MSoft would be silly to even consider it.
Get Bill to subsidise the manufacturing and...
Moist.
I'm the same too. I remembered as a kid thinking that if I wished hard enough, that dad would come home with a black Mk1 XR2, rather than the 1.1 Pop he had at the time. Never did happen!
As gally says - the 'respect' that these cars command, I think is pretty special - assuming...
