Nice Scoob - but it needs flaps!
I'd push your servicing budget a little higher - depending on what mileage you expect to do, of course. If you really want xenons, then yes, the full-fat spec is the way to go. And speaking of 'snapped washers' - you only get those on xenon-equipped cars...
Paul's comments below sum it up well. They are so full of character. Imagine a long weekend coming up in the middle of summer in a Splitty with a few mates - complete with BBQ and bevvies onboard? Just brilliant. It's all about the chill-out for me with one of these. No rush - no hassle. Just...
Hi acstua,
Is there any specific reason for going for the 182 Cup over the 'standard' 182? There are clearly some Cup-only colours, but the majority of people on here tend to think the 182 Cup wasn't as big a departure from the standard car as the 172 Cup was.
At 6'3" - you might not be the...
I've found mine to be very good overall in the snow. Only once did I get 'caught out' - where the road leading to our lane had a gradual incline and the myriad of 4x4s up there had compacted the snow. No matter what I did, that Clio wasn't going up that lane and I ended up leaving it at the...
Do it!

Shame I didn't see this earlier. Took me approx 30secs from the bonnet being up to the bonnet being down and bulb replaced.
Not that that makes you feel any better now. ;)

Stunning - both of them.
Audi - look at those lines. Just look! YOU made that car. Granted, you bowed to the 'wants' of heated seats, etc - but it's still so focused and honed as a car. Designers at the 4-Rings Head Office would no doubt throw themselves in droves at the whirling blades of a...
Chaps, is it worth coating the terminals on the car battery and/or connectors with some form of grease? Or would you generally just leave them attached to each other 'dry'?
Electrics are an arcane form of witchcraft to me, so any suggestions would be more than welcome.
Cheers,

Well done on the investigation there, Martin! Maybe one oversight on the cars' history is acceptable, but this sounds like the previous owners have gone out of their way to falsify its service record.
And if they are willing to do that - has it actually had any servicing TLC throughout its...
Would be epic is some clever cnut at Apple had some embedded firmware that detected non-standard iOS and killed the battery. I simply CBA jailbreaking my iPhone, though I can understand why people do it.

You know what? Sod it - leave it at that price - you never know what will happen. You can always drop it if no offers come through. But you'd be pissed if a buyer willing to part with £10k of their hard earned - ripped your hand off when it was up for only £7k.
Btw, that ride height is...
Love the recent Honda offerings like what Waitey mentioned earlier. Very stylish and put together.
For me, I always remember the VW Golf ad from the late 80s with Paula Hamilton. Summed up that era perfectly.
Not that I noticed all that at 13 years of age. I just thought she looked fit as...
Flol. That's the car equivalent of Nora Batty with the assets of a pole-dancer under her apron.
The Puke-r is epic however, for the fact that it even exists. Hat's off to the engineers for even attempting it. But I would much, MUCH prefer to have a standard GTR....

Does look dodgy on initial comments. But don't completely write if off just yet. If the car drives and feels fine and is structurally sound - you'll just have to make allowances when purchasing the car for the belts to be done. Although not cheap, I would certainly get both done given the...
