madness, glad hes ok though. Saw a 4x4 over turned on the A500 today... however i can feel no sympathy towards them for having an oversized car for no real purpose, he was undoubtably trying to cut someone up and swerved.
i'm not sour that one ran in the back of me.... honest :banghead:
chris - u do indeed, always seem to miss u for some reason, still havent got round to having a proper look around the minter ;)
giles - i cant do the rear badge as i cant remove it 9prob can but its too much of an arse lol) . Also its not made out of the same sort of cheap plastic as the the...
needs coilovers imo ;) lol seriously though if u're gonna lower it at least get a kit, 9 times out of 10 they'll fook u're shockers anyway. looking nice though ;) colour coding looks nice, got any more plans in the near future?
^ dont fancy coming round and giving it the giles treatment do u ;) think i'll need half the car to be resprayed before fcs to get it up to standard :(
the only really good tape i've found is slightly raised (as its like a foam) therefore the carbon wouldnt sit flush with the paint and wouldnt look right. in all honesty i think the full size plates will look just as good, if not better lol
i'm the goon behind the wheel :D:D
been out to the car, and the numberplates lying in the road as the adhesive isnt strong enough to hold the weight of itself, and the numberplates. as such going to order some standard sized plates and have all the writing quashed up into the middle like it...
didnt realise that was the front valance.
almost bought those sideskirts, but really wanted them smoothed into the car, and the cost was going to be huge lol
^ sadly not. just having them pearl black'd.
the carbon backing was essential due to holes right at the edges due to the larger number plates. in real life its nowhere near as apparent as in the pics, so kinda cool.
the airbag may still go off i was informed by renault even if the battery has been disconnected. the only 100% safe way to do it is to get someone to lock the airbags off using CLiP. my local does it for £25.
worryingly i have both of the above, and will give it a go.
rich - when you say soft brush what do you mean. would a cheap toothbrush do? or do i need something softer.
^^ why not. one of the best mods ive done to my car. sports cat has made it loads more fun to drive, and gave me a perfectly flat torque curve - which is nice
^^ only because of the trade legislation changes from goods from japan/china.
should be fine with getting them imported from america, just pay through paypal to get your buyer protection.
^ thats awesome. i hate the 'just washed threads' of standard clios, especially when they're repeated over and over again.
i could look out the window if i wanted to see a clean clio lol.
