tbh, i have never noticed it hinder my downloads, i am moving away from torrents though, new groups are the way forward

problem is that if you set your upload too high, like 90% your web browsing will suffer hard as you have no upload bandwidth available and your connectio will seem dog slow, i keep my upload to around 15Kb/s on a 512Kb/s upload speed line and that seems to work well and i seem to upload enough...

if you do, they are massive downloads, like 15gb so would it be worth it, then, how are you going to burn it to a disk and when the Writeable hd discs are about £9 each, again, is it worth it?

i'll just keep the hd on all the time as it comes on and goes off with the console anyway.

oh and the dvd tray open on the remote only works with the main unit too but thats not anything major as you have to get up to change the disc anyway.

thanks for that very helpful advice thomas, thats not the problem though i'm afraid, the dealer said they have had 3 or 4 cars with the same problem recently and they are going to contact RUK to see if they have a fix, as it was a saturday they didn't have as much resource to find the solution

nearly 3 yrs old, took it in to renault, they called RUk and they are changing it, sorted. I love it when its that easy! Shame my speed limiter not cancelling when flooring it can't be solved!

i love the sony ultra portables, i have one of the original ones and a more recent TR model, there are packed with technology with a really long battery life and very light, especially considering they have an inbuilt optical drive. I am waiting for one with a Blu-ray drive to upgrade mine...
