My key will not allow me to start my car :(
Now, I have just come back from the local Renault dealer who diagnosed that it simply required a new battery.
So they gave me a free battery and sent me on my way smiling :o
Tried to start my car... no luck :@
Went back in and they said I would...
Are you 100% sure you dont have an alpine cd changer under one of the front seats?
Reason I ask is I drove around for a week or two not knowing it was there :oops:
I assumed that with the car being an import, that was the reason why it came with the standard cassette HU :p

Modifications seem to worthless when it comes to resell unfortunately.
Sell bits separately to recoup some costs at least if possible.
I had something similar on my previous clio. When you moved the seat forward to let someone in the back, the seat never ever went back to its previous position. Used to give the passenger hell of a shock 5 minutes later when the seat finally clicked back into position.

From an previous experience, they put the car in neutral, release the handbrake and push it further down the road before driving off in your pride and joy...
Mines an EU import and it has the standard Renault Cat 2 immobiliser and an aftermarket Cat 1 Laserline 996V3 Alarm.
Car has the motion sensors mounted and a receptacle (over-ride) located near the cigarette lighter.

My friend races 250 cc karts and uses shell optimax as his prefered fuel. One meeting the kart just wouldnt pick up at all and after much head scratching and testing it appeared there was water in the fuel.
