To be fair they are only iconic cars too uber geeks and 40 year olds who still wear baseball caps. A Ferrari wouldn't say "ooh, there goes a Soobaroo!", but they might look twice at a V6... I personally wouldn't get either cars. I'd get an NSX. But i would say that :rasp:

I'm not sure the F1 success and associated Renault kudos has quite filtered to the masses yet. In fact, even i forget about Renault being good in F1! I still find myself having to explain what a 172 is to people, and they still remain unimpressed. Whereas i'm sure if i said i had Golf GTI...

Are there any tracks near by? Most motorsport outfits are based in industrial estates around them. Otherwise, why not try the cliocup site and see where some of the teams are based? There is obviously k-tecracing too, not sure if they have all the equipment though.

The Cup has no ABS and is missing some mod cons like xenons and leather. My 172 gets about 36mpg in town.

Magnex exhausts look too big for the non Sport Clios IMO. The k-tecs also sound A LOT better. They aren't very high quality though...

You could do something with it, it has nice big arches. Look at a standard Mitsi Lancer then an EVO...do a similar thing with the Clio saloon and it would probably look pretty cool!

When you posted normal road cars i was going to mention i bet it will look great in white, and it does!
