Its going to be dependent on how stiff the suspension is, if its rock solid then the energy has to be dissipated somewhere. Every time you go round a corner the car is flexing by fractions. Thats why you can do a bodyshell refresh on older cars in Gran Turismo ;)

Fibreglass? Where from? I was thinking of getting one made up but then it will probably have to get resprayed every year as it will craze.

Well think about it, if you take all of the flex out of the suspension and chassis it has to go somewhere, the bodyshell!! The way of getting round it would be to get a full roll cage so the bodyshell is basically doing nothing.

I personally think they are a bit chavvy. K-tecs one isn't very light in order to be as strong as OEM. I'd rather see a super thin one which you can just pin.

I am getting FKs because they are much cheaper. They are harder than the H&Rs so aren't as friendly on the road from reports i have heard. As far as i know there hasn't been sufficient testing to say one is better than the other, but the H&Rs are dearer so you would think something about them...

If your jacking points are anything like the Mk2s then i would use the little Renault jack that comes with the car. Buy axle stands instead. I have used a proper jack on a mk2 clio before and broke the jacking point with it...

Hi Guys, I am looking for a JavaScript slideshow that can ideally fade jpgs. I have used one for while but in Firefox it just changes pictures rather than fades and in Opera it doesn't work at all! Know of any good scripts? Cheers!

For new bearings you won't pay more than £60 for both sides. I got a mobile mechanic out to do mine at £30 for one hours work.

Personally i think a lot of current RS owners don't even like their 182s. It seems the only important thing to them is performance. All too often on this forum we hear about 'chipping' and "it will have 280bhp" blah blah blah. Just accept you're too cheap to buy the Leon or CTR you lust after...

Yeah, its a shame. I think that prevents it being a family day out, i could cope with it but my mum or girlfriend would be moaning all day! The Gallardo looked superb, it is very compact and 'taut' looking. The best sounding car was the Murcielago, it was just like a slightly quieter F1 car...
