relocating the battery is one way around it but i don't really want a battery in my boot or footwell. lol. and smaller batteries don't hold their charge very well. i looked into it last year but i found no point in doing either.
and they both cost money. removing a single pipe is free :)...
i wasn't bothered about a performance increase. wouldn't expect it to. dosen't seem a noticable decrease, just a nice sound.
i was just wondering if i will get any cr*p in my airbox
if its due to warm air...
i cant see how as the intake is not far off from where a maxogen sits.
and the feed is a lot bigger when the pipe is removed.
as everyone knows... disconnect the air feed pipe from the airbox (the one behind the headlight) and you get a nice induction sound :) is this safe to do? cant see it being too much of a problem. will more debris get to the filter?
you will be struggling to get 15bhp more with £600. you will need over £2000.
i would get an itg maxogen.
oz ultraleggera's.
lowering springs.
will be over budget but worth it
if you want a drop and ride comfort, sportlines will be best for you.
prolines don't really give a drop. this is mine on prolines
then on apex
the apex are going back on next week. goodbye high and smooth, hello low and bumpy :)
rear discs inc bearings and abs rings £175.08 + postage costs from k-tec
brake pads £15 from halfords
that's about £200.
where can you get the discs with bearings and abs rings cheaper then?
obviously yo can use a non abs disc with no bearings, press the old bearings and abs rings on. but...
