New abs pump fitted and after half a day trying to bleed the brakes I got the call all was ok. ABS works when it should and not when it should'nt, car stops dead straight, brilliant. NS front pads are more worn than OS indicating a sticking caliper so that needs sorting. Mot check up done and...
Sounds like what ever controlls the central lockiing (UCH?) is playing up. I think it's more the locking than the door handle as opening it from inside physically unlocks the door rather than the electrics doing it, and then the door opens ok. Could be the signal's not getting to the drivers...
Collected it from the garage. Service done, abs pump done, but brake pedal not right. Brakes work but too much travel on the pedal. Will need to go back on Monday.
