lowering, new alloys, exhaust and colour coding are pretty much essential.
with the exception of that its really down to personal choice over what you want. some people love aftermarket mods, but i prefer little mods you have to look for that retain the overall look of the original car :)
but you wouldnt get it in the garage :)
car looks minty, and i love that colour in the flesh. have seen a few clios that are totally standard with heavily tinted rear windows, so may be a renault option.
^^ agree with that, however on my car (1.2 16v) the drivers side is much more difficult to get to due to the location of the air conditioning pipes.
i had the osram silverstars in mine and was really quite impressed with them. they popped one evening, so had no choice but to go halfords...
any chance of posting the individual links to the photos, as the link you've posted never seems to work. (clicked on it a couple of time now, but is prob my computer)
if your putting 4 layers of primer, then you can do all 4 layers in one day, but will then need to leave it for a period to cure before you sand it. you have to use your judgement really on how long. On wheels i would take the time to let it dry properly, although not strictly necessary on...
generally speaking (i find) it best to leave primer overnight before wet sanding it. you can wet sand silver paint as soon as its hardened, but probably safest option is to leave it overnight also. shouldnt really need much of a sand if its sprayed evenly. altho im sure i give out wrong...
its an integrated item, so the gaitor is attached to a plastic frame that clips into the console. costs 3.77 new from renault for the entire thing, and you simply need to pull your old one out, and attach the new one. using a supplied cable tie (underneath the life up reverse) and then push it...
generally speaking bodyshops dont like doing wheels as its fiddly and time consuming. professional powdercoating usually costs circa 180 for 4 15'' wheels which will give a harder wearing finish too
i put:
get some really fine sandpaper to smooth the wheels off after the final coat before laquering to get rid of orange peel, and then use tonnes of laquer
so you must be either dyslexic, or talking out of your arse ;)
if you want a really nice finish, lots of layers, lots of sanding (more hard wearing that way also) get some really fine sandpaper to smooth the wheels off after the final coat before laquering to get rid of orange peel, and then use tonnes of laquer. :)
tbh, i was gonna keep my alpines in the back and get some good comps up front, i just dont think they're really needed (the rear coaxials), especially if you have a sub. but if the speakers are only cheap, you can always take em out and not loose any money. Play around a bit when you get them...
why exactly are the pugs group 5? g/fs 1.4 16v Corsa SXi is only a group 4 and thats got 95 bhp. Makes you wonder how insurance companies work these things out
I really wouldnt bother. I changed my speakers to alpine type S coaxials all round and it sounded sh*te compared to the original speakers. biggest waste of money i've ever spent.
^^^ Cheers! wasnt sure at first but from the feedback i gather it was agood desicion. I'll be honest i had a job trying to persuade myself not to buy Freds anthracite turinis lol. Anyway back on topic!
What sort of wheels did you have in mind quickshift?
