I don't suppose my hetero-mats would be cheaper would they?

Is there any way i can join this group buy but get just plain mats? I don't want blue piping or any of that gayness, just plain black or whatever the 172 interior colour is!

What's your budget? My Mini Cooper is for sale, is better than a 172 apart from performance obviously. Group 9 insurance.

Was looking on Autotrader and a blue 182 with around the same mileage was just £8,500. Not a sellers market sadly...

No, it doesn't handle and ride is crap. Engine might be powerful but has not character whatsover. Typical VAG car. I almost got a CTR has my family are Honda fans. It is a great car to sit in and with the great gearbox you really feel the part but then if you drive one and a ITR the difference...

Well the 182 is stiffer than the 172, that's why you never heard about it in the 172 write ups. People like posting pictures of their heroic three wheeled moments, but at the end of the day it just shows the limitation of the rear's set up. Wouldn't see a CTR do it (double wishbones).

Yeah my clutch lacks in feel tool but i'm sure i'll get used to that at least. I was giving far too many revs in my first drives, but better than stalling!

Nice car mate, i have just got a silver one today myself. Looked at a black one earlier which was really mint but the owner was a bit of a chav and razzed away when we left! My one has done 24,000 miles and has a couple of dings, but then i only paid £6250. Bargain!

Better off getting 15" inch Turinis (the Cup has 16" versions). It will look a bit like a Cup racer then...

Picked up a 172 today, quick and fun to drive but the worst gearbox ever. Feels like i'm just stirring porridge with a wooden spoon :D How much of a difference will a short shifter make? Thanks.
