Service life of 1.5 DCI high pressure pump - cambelt driven?

The pump is cambelt driven on these. Not sure on service life really. Mine is at 113k miles though and still fine, touch wood!

    Dci gearbox & engine help?

Pretty sure it's on one of the ones in the door shut. I may be wrong though. Engine code will be K9K followed by 3 numbers. If the gearbox is the same as the dci100 it'll be a JR5 box

    Dci gearbox & engine help?

That's the same gearstick as my car so I'd reckon it's probably the same gearbox as the dci 100. Not sure about the engine though

Need help with a Clio with a few issues

Yup, definitely sounds like the abs sensor or ring has had it. Just to add though, 99% sure all abs faults are self clearing so won't need cleared on Clip

CS Areas Day 14 (SCOTLAND) 21.09.14

Ah that's a shame, it was pretty good. First chance I've really had to put faces to names on here, and it helped chase up a few deposits for this lol! Was a fairly impressive turnout for the CS stand too. We won the best stand award.

    Local Area Subdivisions (please read)

IMO the fact that people have that exact mentality over meets up this way is the reason they never happen. I know it's easy for me to say, being 21 and not having family commitments to deal with or anything, but every other region on here seems to manage just fine. It seems to me like all the...

    Local Area Subdivisions (please read)

That sounds a better idea tbh. I forgot just how far apart Aberdeen and Inverness were lol! I still think southern/central Scotland could do with a split too though. When you take into account places down Ayrshire way, if we just had one group for the central area, a meet organised over...

    Local Area Subdivisions (please read)

I think at the very least we need a Scotland North/South division. Personally, I think if you're looking at micro meets, then even going as far as Scotland North, East and West wouldn't be unreasonable. North to cover highlands (I realise this is a big area, but I don't know how you could...

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

It would be for learning, but at the same time I'd eventually want to get the paintwork corrected to a half decent standard on my car. Better off with the more powerful das6 pro?

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

Is £65 a decent used price for a DDJ buff daddy? Is it a decent polisher? Or should I just spend the extra and get a das6 pro?

    sburrell's dci 100

Silicone hoses arrived today. Couldn't get a 57-51mm 45 degree reducer anywhere, but they've sent me a 60-51mm reducer instead (on left in photo) so that'll be going on tight as f**k with a hose clamp and I'll just hope for the best until I can get a proper sized one. This is the general layout...

    sburrell's dci 100

This isn't filling me with confidence haha. I'll see how I get on this weekend with fitting it, if I manage to find another hose. Turns out the 45 reducer I had on the order I made from ASH Hoses is sold out. So I'll be a hose short this weekend unless I can find one tomorrow. On another note...

    sburrell's dci 100

Yeah, never managed to find anything like what I needed so I've just went for a 90 reducer and a 45 too. Will have to sit the cooler off centre. You certainly do! ;) The place I took my wheels to painted the centre caps too. They were an almost identical match too. They never done anything...

    sburrell's dci 100

It's actually harder mate. Difficult to explain...2 secs I'll try and draw a picture lol EDIT: It's a bit like that. Easy enough to connect up the right hand side. Could use a 90 on that and mount the IC centrally, but as you can see on the left hand side, it's near impossible as the hose...
  28. sburrell93

    sburrell's dci 100

Well it'll make a good excuse to buy a 182 if it does die haha! AlexW where did you get all your hoses and pipework? Ideally I need a 57-51mm 135 degree reducer but I can't find one anywhere!
