CS Areas Day 14 (SCOTLAND) 21.09.14

From what I can make out on there, you can have less than 16 or 36, but it'll just cost more per driver since the minimum event cost doesn't change if the numbers are below those amounts

CS Areas Day 14 (SCOTLAND) 21.09.14

I don't think +1's are a problem personally. I'll probably bring a mate or two as well. So long as we don't end up with more than the max amount of people

182 brake caliper slider pins seized in! arghhhh

Last set of slider pins I had that were seized, I held the pin in a vice and just rotated the carrier back and forth on it. Came off after a fair bit of effort! I think the grease you'd be after would be something silicone based. I've used lithium grease before though without any problems...

    182 Dashboard Lights

Tell him to get the ABS ring replaced and see if the fault goes away. Don't change the ABS sensors unless you know they're at fault. They're bloody expensive on clios with ESP! All faults relating to the ABS system are self clearing iirc so if the problem is fixed, the lights will go off.

    182 Dashboard Lights

If it needs a new ABS ring then that could be the cause of the ABS and traction control lights. Airbag light wouldn't be linked to that. It's all speculation unless you can get it on diagnostics and check properly really.

CS Areas Day 14 (SCOTLAND) 21.09.14

Haha yeah I probably should have done. Tried to make sure I hadn't missed any key details and then forgot to add the date. Fail!

CS Areas Day 14 (SCOTLAND) 21.09.14

Also, arg_carra BREMBO if you're up for helping out that's brilliant. Hopefully between us we can get something good sorted out. The more we have to help organise things the better.

CS Areas Day 14 (SCOTLAND) 21.09.14

Right, I've spoken to Raceland, I'll try and keep things concise and to the point. The basics of it are: Event would start at either 12:30pm or 3:30pm £800 for up to 16 drivers (with it costing another £50/driver up to a maximum of 20 drivers) OR £1600 for up to 32 drivers (costing an extra...

    50000mAh Power Bank Charger

I bought one of these for going away to a festival over the weekend there. Charged my phone every day (Friday-Monday) as well as when I got there on the Thursday. Most charges were from below 20% to around 90%, and it also fully charged one of my mates phones too one day. Works out about 6...

CS Areas Day 14 (SCOTLAND) 21.09.14

Just noticed all the replies in this thread. Been without Internet all weekend at T in the Park. I'll get a proper read through later once I've recovered properly lol. If Raceland is what people are wanting I'll get in contact with them and find out what the deal is. I know I'd prefer to go...

CS Areas Day 14 (SCOTLAND) 21.09.14

Lol no worries mate. I can't really see last minute changes in numbers being an issue with karting tbh. Just need to find out what the deal would be with putting deposits down and stuff.

CS Areas Day 14 (SCOTLAND) 21.09.14

Good stuff mate. Would you know closer to the time about having the day off work? If karting was to go ahead then deposits would most likely need to be collected a decent bit in advance, although I'll really need to phone up and find out what the deal would be with them.

06 July 2014 - Performance French Car Day at Crail

It was shite! Turned up about 11am and it was pretty quiet. Stayed for a few hours, had a little look around but got bored then the rain came on, so called it a day at that. Best cars there weren't even French LOL! Seen a couple of clio's. There was an inferno and an arctic 182 going down the...

CS Areas Day 14 (SCOTLAND) 21.09.14

Raceland would be good tbf. Indoor karts are too slow lol, but if they're difficult to organise stuff with then I can't be fucked with that.

CS Areas Day 14 (SCOTLAND) 21.09.14

That'd be a great help cheers! I realise you gave all this up after having other more important commitments but even a little help with things like setting up the fb event would be brilliant.

CS Areas Day 14 (SCOTLAND) 21.09.14

It would seem that getting numbers is the hard bit at the moment! Hopefully if we get the numbers I can start organising and collecting deposits early enough to still have a backup plan if it all goes tits. Might send a group PM round the scottish region to try and get some more interest in this.

CS Areas Day 14 (SCOTLAND) 21.09.14

Karting would be a good idea! Ideal for me too I live about half a mile from that Xtreme karting lol! My basic thinking for this was find somewhere for everyone to meet up, then weather dependent, spend a little while getting pics and stuff, then head off to some sort of activity like you've...

CS Areas Day 14 (SCOTLAND) 21.09.14

Kind of thought that would be the case really! Completely understand everyone having other commitments too, especially with you older ones ;) lol. It'd seem the point of this meet is to reach out to all the ones who can't make the other meets throughout the year though (not that there even is...

CS Areas Day 14 (SCOTLAND) 21.09.14

Think it's probably worthwhile getting an idea of who's up for attending this, so I'll start off a list. Just add your name if you're up for attending. Hopefully can get an idea of who will be going and can work from there on location, whether or not to split central belt and highland guys up...

06 July 2014 - Performance French Car Day at Crail

Think me and my mate will be taking a trip through to this for a little look about and something to do if the weather holds up. Maybe see some of you's there

How to prepare wheels for sealant application

I'm always so impatient with prep work. Need to force myself to do this properly! Is it worth topping it with a wheel wax to give a good finish or is that completely pointless? I'm useless when it comes to wheels lol!

How to prepare wheels for sealant application

Think I'll get some Eraser. Bit more expensive than pure IPA but at least it's pre mixed...and I'm lazy lol. Cheers lads

How to prepare wheels for sealant application

Cheers guys. Am I as well just getting straight IPA off of somewhere like CYC (like this http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polishing-accessories/polish-inspection-sprays/isopropanol-alcohol-ipa-500ml/prod_818.html) or would I be better off with something like CarPro Eraser?

How to prepare wheels for sealant application

I got my wheels powder coated last week, and want to get them properly sealed now. I've got CQuartz DLux stuff that I plan on using, but I've heard most of the work is in the prep and getting the wheels clean enough for it to apply properly. The wheels have built up a fair bit of brake dust on...
