my konis were just as comfortable as the standard suspension, just made it more fun and sporty to drive :) Just got mine put on fks (hence why i'm selling my kit) currently -85mm, and you can feel every stone in the road lol
The springs are spax btw
probably not, i actually just wire brushed all the ming off my current one and sprayed it up to cover the marks on it.
did actually want a nice anodised one, but ive bought 2 different ones now and they dont fit. i might pop down VW one day and ask what size it is to be proper annoying :)
i wanted a new fag lighter as mine was all mingy from the previous owner but couldnt find a nice replacement that would fit as they were all too big.
hopefully it should fit as it looks pretty nifty :)
personally ive put a seat cordoba one on, but need to shave it down a tad. ben_p had the actual renault sport one for non-RS models which i thought looked pretty nice.
fred fitted them, so needless to say i caught my exhaust on two humps on the way home :D pics will be up tomorrow when theres some light
have to say that having driven the car for a while im really happy with the handling/comfort. a very nice combination, and ive gone for the highsports.
yeah he can. i got my coilovers before i expected them without a single problem. received good communications throughout the entire transaction so i knew exactly where i stood. also placed an order for some polish, which he didnt have in stock, and he still managed to get hold of a tub of it...
got non-adjustable FK's fitted today, and id be more than happy to do a trackday on them. feels much more stable at higher speeds and responsive. also looks mint :D
i have some springs and dampers for sale :D
going on ebay tomorrow when ive got a pic. if your interested they're koni red 35mm kit, and also got some spax 60mm springs which im chucking in. £175 ono
driving back from freds and there was a black 182 alongside me for ages in the traffic. as soon as the traffic cleared you gave me a thumbs up, and then booted it :) lol
sounded like a non-standard exhaust as it was quite loud.
also seen loads of other clios around the m6 and a nice flame...
i thought i'd spray my mouldings myself, and could have kicked myself when i went to a bodyshop (after i'd fecked it up) and said that he only wanted 130 quid to do it, i spent 100 quid on materials and hours of wasted time! but if you feel confident give it a go, but i would get some quotes first.
get a bodyshop to do it lol. honestly its a lot of work, and unless you have a compressor prob wont turn out the way you've planned. Make sure you spray in warm conditions, and prep the surface well and be prepared to spend a lot of time on it :)
exactly, if its so dark you cant see, why use sidelights? and as for using sidelights in the day whats the point? dipped beam is designed not to dazzle people, if it does you have them set up wrong
tbh i've never seen the point in 6x9's why not just get a good set of componants and a sub in the back? 6x9s tend to 'muddy' the sound (best word i could think of to describe it lol)
has to be for that car unfortunately. then you also need to have proof of ownership.
iirc as long as you can prove you purchased the car that day, you can legally drive it to your home address, in the same way you can drive your car to an MOT centre without tax if you have an appointment...
sidelights are 'parking lights' pretty certain its illegal to drive anywhere with em on, dont see the point in driving with em on anyway, just put your dip beam on
