get in touch with john2modified on here, cheapest i found! I'd never just get springs, especially on an rs model, because the standard shocks arent designed to take aftermarket springs, so theres always problems.
like the look of the new rs, hate the plasticy cheapness of the base models, specially because when u actually look carefully at it, the interior is made up of all the bits from other renaults. not very original if you ask me
get the yellow pages out. in the security section you will normally find the companies specialising in fitting audio equipment. otherwise look for a good auto-electrician who will be able to sort it.
theres a good one in stafford but bugger me if i can remember the name.
i thought that, but i've found that it just takes slightly longer for my car to get up to temperature compared to before it was installed. if its an open induction kit on an older car removing the cold air feeds will make it run nicer in winter.
so no - not more harm than good :)
my bonnet cost be bout 100 quid from gsmgregg, and he hepled me fit it (pain in the arse) my viper feed is behind the bumper, quite like it there, everyone knows you have one then lol.
Should have my coillies on for the next meet too, really excited :D If your all planning a sunday meet, let me know asap as i'll need to book time off work
ive got 15'' wheels with a lower profile tyre (195/50/r15) and when i lowered it 35mm i had a similar gap to when the car was on the full size 55 profile.
as such coilovers are on there way :)
front one has to be 'peeled off' from one end. obviously you need to remove the two ends before the centre section can be removed as these are in the way.
as with 90% of clios they're attached with the plastic triangular wedges that lock into the bumper. to get out its difficult to...
im interested in some 16'' wheels, but they only come in et45. will these be alright on a dymanique (2003) on coilovers?
dont want to pursue it if they wont fit.
Mark :)
will that still be true for me on 15's with lower profile tyres?
i'll be ringing you next week to organise fitting my coilovers as john2modified said they should be with him tomorrow.
Mark
couldnt they jack the car up (so space under arch) then drop it back down again and do the tracking?
surely it wouldnt catch the arch doing it that way as theres a bit of room.
looks awesome, altho not as good as mine will ;)
i'll have to come round and have a nose when i've got mine on.
absolute bargain for you as well it sounded like
i was, but the g/f doesnt think she'll be seeing alex (had the focus, and the camera lol) till next week now so she wont be able to get the pics off him (he only has 56k so cant send em over)
from renault in the region of 200ish (probably plus vat and spraying..)
i got mine off ebay for 63quid, and then got it sprayed up by my local bodyshop
