i remember lee posting that his alpine connectors dont work with his trophy, so a new model. pretty sure they've changed some wiring so you need a different part. iirc the alpine one is still being worked on.
might have to give them a ring and explain the problem and see when the new part is...
def do it, will look amazing. Considered some for my pearl black none sport but opted to keep the black wheels and get fk's instead. 16" wheels ar ethe best size imo too
think u'd actually have to wack the sensor to make it go off dont think surge alone would cause it but best be safe than sorry, this bloke obviously knew what he was doing, and was adament he didnt need to disconnect the battery (i did question it) but if your doing it yourself best to be safe...
opted for coilovers because the lower profile 15's means i need a larger drop. i did buy 60mm springs to go with the koni dampers but changed my mind - very much a spur of the moment thing lol.
its not in the wheel IIRC so there no need to worry. better to be safe tho and disconnect the battery, but he was absolutely wacking it and it was fine.
lugs are behind the steering wheel, around the 2 vertical spoke area. so run your hand down the back of the spoke and you'll find it (you...
as stated above, when i lowered mine on Konis, unless your going to stick with standard tyres and alloys i would go 60. the 40mm konis would be nice if they are on standard tyres, otherwise you cant really tell.
im selling my konis for £175 ono (shameless plug :D) but for £360 i think you...
cliospares didnt disconnect my battery at all, and said you'd have to hit the motion sensor to make the airbag go off. he turned the wheel to 90degrees, from which position the two lugs are visible on the back of the wheel. you need to fork these lugs (one at a time obviously) to the side...
good attempt :)
i tried something similar on the front, but with a seat splitter. to get a better join you could use a metal 'fixit plate' in order to clamp the two ends tight. that will also get rid of the indent where they meet.
having the air con on isnt that noticeable in my 1.2 to be honest.
i love flame red too, but sadly they never did it in the non-RS's which is why i need a respray :D
renault was in the region of £300 brand new. best bet is to go round the scrappies. i got mine for £90 with some other bits and bobs which is about right.
better of taking it somewhere proper as they have been known to only use half the bottom and charge you the full wack. diamondbrite is normally used by professional valetors, so you could assume its better.
we had supaguard on one of our older cars and the interior was fantastic, but the...
cant you remove the door card and take the mechanism out of the bottom whilst having the window still taped into place?
pretty sure i watched that on one of the 'wheeler dealer' type shows :)
normally once they've gone they've gone. however my old punto one slowly got worse, admitedly that was because the driveshaft had a leak tho.
best bet is to monitor it and make sure it does it all the time before taking it somewhere to get looked that (my gf had that problem with her punto)
look in the gallery for different colours, however most are of black cars anyway lol.
check the renault uk website for a variety of colours. personally id buy privately if i had to buy another one, unless of cause you need a hire purchase agreement. (altho these can be arranged directly with...
they always go for £30 or less on ebay at the mo. ive been watching them for ages as i want another pair, but think i might just try and get someone to px my colour coded ones for their standard renault items.
and bi-wiring does help if connected to proper audio equipment. never tried it on mine, but my mate did it and it did sound like there was an overall improvement.
richer sounds are also a nasty company with no sense of 'service' or 'quality'
i would buy what hi-fi and look at their suggestions of best buy and just see what you can get when shopping round. personally i went for mission bookshelves and a marantz multi-stacker and i like it :)
occassionally when im not in a rush and let it tick over for a bit it does run loads nicer. for instance when you've been scraping the ice off the windows. runs soooo nice :)
according to a report in america 1 in 10 iPod Nanos has a faulty screen which can crack really easily.
theres a website devoted to people registering to try and get it repaired under warranty from the manufacturer.
just something to bear in mind :)
