What is your car like? I work from Gourock and have seen various Clio's in and around Port Glasgow/Greenock?

The problem on here (most of the time) is all if not most want the best, most looked after, cheapest example around. NO one on here ever seems to be willing to pay over the odds for what its potentially worth, the worst thing about it is the people driving down the price of Renault Sport Clio's...

Personally you'll only find trouble here if you look for trouble! The people are generally nice/okay, as with most city centres its the arsehole bouncers as usual.

For the amount of Renault Sports that are for sale im 100% certain id rather pay £1700-£2000 for a straight well looked after example than a heap with damage.

Their the best tyres ive driven on, better by miles in the wet & dry than the V12's which i currently have :(

Building a car from scratch is getting a Westfield/Caterham and doing that. Taking a mass produced french hatch and swapping panels/engine over isnt from scratch...? To echo what Russ said, if and when you go to sell it, someone will want a genuine one over one thats been 'fettled'

Take your own advice, if you can. Just buy a Renault Sport Clio. It'll be nothing but utter ball-ache to to a conversion.

The Lambda sensors can be changed round Luke but ideally id just change the down stream one as the one plugged into the cat doesnt ​really do anything.
