What is your proudest moment youve had in a 172??

When I got to sit in one, once

I had a bloke in a mondeo st24 literally pushin me up the road until i dropped a cog lol

some guys in a astra coupe thing with a halfords exheaust on went passed my little clio, i dropped a cog and flew passed them they pulled in behind to check for the sport badge then promptly re overtook me once i had proved my point and slowed down!

I got blown away once in mine while driving down the motorway, good times

EDIT: Seeing as theres a lot of cogs being dropped I suppose I dropped a cog in a way as well

re-maps rarely increase peak power but can make the car perform better throughout the whole rev range

its not but threads like this usually end up with loadsa s**t thats all.. as said remaps usually just improve the overall drive of the car.. also get it on the back road from sherburn 2 haswell and c what u blow away along there

I blew the welds on the intake once, I also dropped a cog the other week,
5th gear exploded at 70mph, at that point you could have blown me away on a childs tricycle.

Its abit lumpy at the worst ov times tbh, im nt sure if thers a bigger problem wiv it, it drives ok jst seems unusually juddery on tickover if u know wht i mean :/

Aw well il rest easier knowin tht as i thort ther ws a major problem wiv it av also gt a problem wiv a knocking frm the offside front wheel!! Am thinkin ball joint but do u know ov any other faults in tht area?
