We talked about this at the mini-meet the other night, didn't we? It's a postcode lottery - which in itself I wouldn't mind so much if it was accurate, relevant or even marginally correct.
As I said about our previous address in Heywood - that was cheaper to insure the cars than where we are...
Aye - mum and dad bought one when I was 5! Some true classics on there - Space Invaders, Defender, Pac-Man - quality in their day!
Fallout 3 is a superb RPG, but it's not for everyone. Scutch's Fallout 3 thread has over 2,800 posts - so it gives you some idea of how popular it is...
Heheh! It's a good job I don't have a console - put it that way!
First one I got was an Atari back in 1980. I've had a fair few game platforms since then, but from 1992 I've almost exclusively stuck with the PC.
Most games I rinse and complete and rarely return to. In my view, it's like...
Great thing it was too!
One of the guys at work bought it a few months back and I got a lift to Asda at dinner. As the boot says, it's an automatic and not too clunky, suprisingly. Felt a little weird sat on the right side as a passenger on our roads (I think its the first time I've...
Not really a fan of the first one m8. And if you didn't like Borderlands, then you won't like this. Exactly the same type of game - but without guns.

GTFO!!! ;)
WTF?! Is that because you find an AK-47 quite feeble unless it comes with deep imapct, deep penetration, double-tap, thermal sights, heartbeat monitors - oh and your character has better physical conditioning?
Takes a lot of skill to play LFD on higher difficulties....

Re: [PC/Xbox/PS3] Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Official Thread
That's key to most FPSs like this, I think. DICE got it so right years ago with Battlefield 1942. You actually felt like a small (yet important) part of your side doing well. Your lumbering bomber was a sitting target to the...

Those sound effects are brilliant! AT guys are back in as well - yeah, baby!
WhoTF needs 86 bullshit anti-infantry only attachments to their guns when you can have kit that takes out tanks? ;)
Going after the vehicles - FTMFW!

Not too bad a price for XP, Tom. As long as you don't need to join a domain or anything?

edit - out of stock. :(
Probably best just getting the full-blown retail version of 7, tbh...
There's a difference? :S ;)
Pro's look more MANLY, have a backlit keyboard, SD slot and Firewire. An extra hundred notes is a little much for just for those items, I think?

...surely the answer to many a thief's dreams? 16-for-1....... and it has wheels! ;)

Ah. You could have just downloaded the Steam install again from here....

It's tiny too. Would have downloaded in no time. :)

I've only scratched the tip of this game - approx 30mins, but it does seem very good. Bioware are geniuses imo. The scope and depth that they put into games is really quite astounding at times.

Cheers m8. Does a spreadsheet saved in Mac Office say, open up fine on the PC Excel version?
Tom- is that the Apple version of Word and Excel?
Cheers,

If you're after some deep and complex FPS, then this isn't it! The user guide (for what it is) is simply 1 sheet of paper within the case. The easiest way I can describe it would be to get the original Doom and make it available to 4-players at once. There is however, a subtle depth going on to...
Quite a key one that, Jason - it's certainly worth backing that folder up specifically.
What might be worth noting is that Steam itself has been a bit flakey these past few days, where normally I never have any problems. Several times it has said that it can't connect to my account and three...
