Tesco are a nightmare for having one price on the item and the till/checkout having another. Many a time I've bought things like two bottles of wine for an offer price of a tenner when they are normally say £7.99 or £8.99 each. Sure enough, I get charged the full whack and then have to goto to...
You're not alone there, m8. I don't smoke, but I strangely become more focused in online racing after a few bevvies.
Probably all in the mind, but I do seem to make less mistakes! However, a few drinks really affects my FPS abilities - I'm never any good after that.

I switch it off everytime I fire up the car.
I'm not a complete tool though. When the road surface is bad, I switch it on. No point being a hero to prove a point, imo. ;)

PMSL! It always reminded me of Murray Walker, that!
Did you ever switch to English-only voiceovers? I thought about giving it a go, until I realised that there was a massive advantage in keeping the Russian-sounding PAC and English-sounding EU, seperate. Many a time I was taking cover and...
Lol - I know what you mean! Tbh, that's one of the reasons that I never really get properly involved online. I just can't commit to the time-frames for games and I don't think it would be fair on the other players - especially if they want to play seriously.
I got close - very close in fact...
Iirc, the Punto GT didn't have an I/C. It merely had a VHS cassette box made to look like one. ;)
The only problem I ever had with the plumbing on it was with the rad. After 70k miles it got shot to pieces and needed a new one sharpish.

Mass Effect is a great shout by Brand - and well worth a look.
You might just complete it in time for when Mass Effect 2 gets released. :)
As spirez says too - if you're completely new to the Half-Life setting, the three games within the Orange Box are SO worth it too. Great storyline.

Only had a quick dabble, m8. My cousin in Australia went mental over this - kept asking me to go online (hmmm - on a 56k modem?!) and it seems to have a proper core following.
I much preferred the 'mech side of the game in terms of Starsiege and others like MechWarrior, etc.

Hehehe - I know! I had to get to around 90 leptons in order to catch you up! ;)
Do you live in Bury then? I noticed you went straight on towards Bury, past the Reno dealership.
D.
Just passed it now on the M66 and it came off at junction 2, Bury. I would have let on except I was in a Passat. Random acknowledgements by VAG drivers - FTL! ;)
Both reg and car seem really familiar?

Assuming you don't forget you Apple ID to reauthorise your music again! :)
Rollo - you're best deauthorising your PC in iTunes before you reformat (assuming you haven't done so already?). Just click on the Advanced tab at the top and then at the bottom, the prompt 'Deauthorise audible account'...
Thanks for the responses guys - much appreciated!
tyranical - I've not had any real issue with Windows 7 64-bit, tbh m8. I needed to edit an ini file to get UT3 working and it has been fine ever since. Strangely however, that used to crash all the time in XP. Oh, and I tried to install...
Right chaps. I've been requested to help in putting together a PC for my nephew - the good news being the budget at £1.5k
It's 99% used for gaming - so the GPU, CPU and memory are all important - along with the mobo of course.
The budget is to include a new monitor (he's currently got a 4:3...
WhyTF do you have to enable port forwarding on the multiplayer PC version? That's like giving a new owner of a car a hand-crank rather than an ignition key.
Fcuking lazy b***ards. What, because it doesn't use the sacred XBox Live, online PC players have to configure it themselves?
Fcukwitts...
That touches on my idea for the GTFO Box. Made by Ronco, it literally is a box with a CAT5 port on it (the Pro version has a few USB slots chucked in for good measure) - and has random green lights on it.
Green lights, because it looks like everything is working and an occasional orange light...
